lol you begin to wonder what theyve done for the past year or two other than adding multiplayer and creature comforts such as weapon upgrades and rolling on the floor to dodge enemies whilst knifing them with the omni tool.

We kept being promised this was all going to be fixed, especially after the DLC with Kasumi. For two years. Two years.
What's so ridiculous is that Liara moves properly. All other females move properly. Why couldn't they just assign Asari body movement to femShep? That isn't rocket science. It's laziness.
I am very disappointed with this. I'm going to have to do a Sheploo playthrough just so I can stand to look at the game. The animation actually looks worse in ME3 than ME2 because they made femShep thinner. ME1 had better animations.

Yeah, I'm a guy, but ya know... sometimes I like watching a chick's backside instead of a guy's. Just funny that way

And you would think since BW is ran by guys, they would want there Females to walk like a lady, not like a man-lady with a stick up the backside. c:

The female version of Shepherd may have the face of a woman, but by god she walks, runs, and generally moves like a man! If you're going to offer the female character option, please adapt her body movements to her gender.
I know many of us fans share your POV about FemShep and the animations, but I don't... with one exception... when she drinks it's very macho male. All other animations I am fine with. In fact whenever I watch my son playing ManShep I giggle because many of his animations look girly. eg. ManShep's first chat with the Illusive Man in ME2. He stands like a girl. There are other examples. But yeah, count me as one of the fans that see more girliness in the animations than manliness.

There's a manly/womanly way of drinking now? She picks the glass up, drinks the contents and puts it back down again. How is that macho male? Should she be sipping delicately while sticking her pinky finger out?zambingo wrote...

For goodness sakes, she's a soldier. Do you want the DA2 FemHawke hip wiggle? I honestly ended up doing a BoyHawke run through on that basis alone.

Anyway, like I said the animations don't really bug me.
In that light and regarding someone mention that FemShep sits with her legs open... she's in armor, I can't imagine "sitting lady-like" would be practical or comfortable.

When I mentioned the drinking animation being macho man in style is because it is reminiscent of a cowboy. As in a classic western film cowboy sweeping a drink off a saloon's counter, swigging it in one go. It's the only animation for FemShep I ever thought looked out of place. But maybe it's just because I don't view her as being Josey Wales.

I also thought femShep sitting in that dress with her leg crossed giving the beaver shot from hell during the Kasumi DLC was really really bad. The femShep drinking resembled at best the portrayal of an Calamity Jane from the HBO series Deadwood during the peak of her alcoholic days. Really bad. Solution to this is to remove the drinking.
Biomotion Labs Walking Animation -- This should be basic for an animator. I see military men and women daily. There is a difference in gait, even in full gear. It's anatomy. In ME she lumbers forward like a man even in casual. Of course Anderson has the zombie foot drag, and who knows? He'll soon be a zombie. I'm not asking for extremes here, just something that differentiates femShep from Sheploo other than looks and VA.
But why is it that the other females seem to move okay? This is what bugs me.
I'm hoping against hope that we didn't get the final version in the demo, but I'm afraid we did.
