For me the Asari is the boss. The Drell is cool and all but it bugs out too much.

Yeah it's kinda shame turians cant dodge, but their shields/barriers and health is stronger than average to compensate.
Doesn't save us from a phantom though, those things make me run for cover and jump into a hot bath and cry...

That's why we have teammates. Your buddies should be able to cover for your weaknesses.GroverA 125 wrote...

one of his passive skills is weapon stability or something. maybe a smg will be good in his hands. find it absolutely useless with anyone else

With Salarian, cloak, shoot and energy drain immediately, and with the widow. Any enemy is easy. Except for phantoms.. I think they're the only enemies I absolutely hate.
However, with the Asari adept, just stasis the hell outta a phantom and they're yours. Plus, throw spam is amazing. Couple the stasis with the shotgun and they're all putty in your hands.
I really don't care about Krogans at all. Not before, and certainly less so now. They can't roll and dodge. After playing asari and salarian, I find it to be absolutely essential for evading grenades, sniper shots, and phantom attacks. Wish I could give someone my krogan soldier - he's never going to get any play time. Same goes for turian since apparently they can't roll or dodge.
By the way, does anyone know the race specials vs the humans? Like, what makes the races different than the humans? For instance, Krogan run faster and Asari have quicker biotic cooldowns.

Yeah, Phantoms are scary. Thankfully, due to my habit of staying up the back and sniping, they usually go after my teammates first. XD Then I can coolly Warp their barriers and drop them with a Mantis headshot, before strolling over to revive my dead teammate like it's no big thing.

They don't. They're too busy sitting down a firing range taking potshots with their stasis bubbles to notice the army of troops casually walking around. Considering that I'm the one who always covers the flank, they aren't in position to get me up. Three of them sat at the top of a ladder doesn't save me from those scary phantoms in the night, it seems...

Atlas, turrets, anything with a shield just melt down. Overload is also a pretty good crowd control ability.

I made my Turian sentinel a pure weapons user with maxed out tech armor, turian veteran, and currently upgrading fitness (focusing on health & shield upgrades). Use a scoped Mattock and a Scimitar.
Don't even have points in overload and warp.

The reason you don't see many Turians is because their demo-unlockable class (Sentinel) kinda sucks. Or they're too open for customization for people to really streamline them like, say, the Asari Adept or Krogan Warrior. Jack of all trades, master of none, the good ole Turian Sentinel.

Actually, they make an excellent tank. Up to 40% damage decrease and a large amount of health and shields to boot. They're excellent for keeping all the enemies occupied while someone picks them off from a distance. They can do all the work themselves to be honest, what with the huge weapon damage they can just murder anyone in range. Escpecially with the Tempest. It's kind of what you'd want with a vanguard (the ability to hold your own after you charge into an angry mob)

I disagree. My Turian has the least KO record than any of my other classes due to his armour and passive abilities. He's also a damn good Sniper against Guardians. The Makatak wrote...

Grenades don't really bother me - I can normally outwalk them before they blow up, and even if I get hit my tech armour + durability save me.
I'm also specced for survival, with weapon damage and stability perks, and the AR weight perk so I can shoot AND spam skills with my 200% recharge rate. =)
I find SMGs utterly useless. Even with the stability skills the gun just kicks like a mule. And honestly I find the Avenger much better suited to my playstyle. Fast and furious for weaker foes, slow and steady for guardians (scoped of course), and precision strikes + Overload spam for the phantoms and nemesis.
I got lucky with the mods - Scope and Stability mods for my AR makes my gun as accurate as a heavy pistol. Can't wait to unlock a mattock.

I got a turian sentinel, and I use him quite frequently now. Only thing I don't like is that like krogans you can't evade, which is probably why so few people use them if they were lucky enough to get them...
This. I got the turian sentinel on my 2nd unlock but the no-dodge thing is a dealbreaker. I feel like I'm handicapped. I'll give it a go once more, though.
