When playing multiplayer my game freezes and then crashes with message: "Mass Effect 3 demo has stopped working." I was never able to finish a multiplayer game because of the crashes, and I tried many many times. Iz usually takes 3-8 minutes to crash. Single player was unaffected - played through the demo several times without a hitch. I have no problems with my internet connection, firewall was turned off just to be sure it isn't causing the problems, and I'm using x64 Win7.

Suggestions? Anything? :)

I have the same issue. I can usually play 2-3 complete maps but after a while it freezes then soon after it crashes to the desktop.
Not sure if it happens because the host loses his connection or if it's something else...

Sometimes it stays 1 minutes with the music and all that then crashes. Pretty annoying, especially when you are to round 10 or 11!

This! It's very annoying. Specifically, I can't finish a game of multiplayer. If we lose, then I'm fine, but if we complete the level, then it crashes

Have the same problem.
It's either I crash at the end or I crash when the rewards come up, ultimately ending with no exp from it because of the crash.

Not sure what the problem is.
I am done with it for today because I wasted an hour playing and getting nothing in return but crashes.

I've got the same problem too. The crashes are always at the screen where you see the exp received or on the victory screen (before that). It's really frustrating when 20+ minutes worth of playing leads to nothing.

Same issue my game would crash every 5-10m and it was so random, crash 2-3 times play for an hour without a problem, untill now when I found out that my game crashes both SP and MP every 3-4m. I didnt have any problems the first 4 days from 14 to 17th. I wanna say I played both SP and MP with no problems at all, but now... Its unplayable...

My friend is having the same "crash after completion" issue in MP. It really is frustrating to no end. Hundreds of thousands of XP lost for no obvious reason. The other three players (including me) have no problems with crashes at all. I also noticed that loading takes longer when she drops.

Solved it on my system, turns out ME 3 was using my integrated Intel graphics card as opposed to the nvidia card (it's a laptop hence 2 cards). I did not have the problem on ME 2 since I got it from Steam, which i set to use the nvidia by default. ME 3 gave me issues since it's the first game I ran from Origins.

So if you are playing the game from a laptop with this type of configuration try finding out which card ME 3 uses.

Ok, find the solution :
Go on your Nvidia parameters > 3D parameters > Global parameters then check your favorite graphic process and choose " high performance Nvidia Processor.

Tips : in software parameters u can check every program which is used by your graphic card, and change it if necessary?

How about those of us using Radeon cards? I don't have an integrated chip, just my dedicated card...and it crashes every time I try to start up multiplayer (which, by the way, it didn't do up until today).

Try looking in the control panel. On my system (Windows 7) there's a Nvidia control panel over there, once you're there just follow Grumlo's instructions, which is what I did. Look for masseffect3demo.exe on the list if it isn't then look in your origins folder.

@Grumlo
Thanks for the suggestion, it worked like a charm - no more crashes for my friend and my team is finally able to level up together.

Tried Grumlo's fix, but didn't work for me. I tried all the suggestions listed here and somehow got ME3 to stop crashing: http://crashfixes.co...direct-x-error/

Hope this helps others.
