I agree with you and the OP:wizard:Butthead11 wrote...
I wanna see a female drell.
There should be an option to change sex rather than two separate character slots, where possible.
I seriously doubt the possibility of female drell though.

I don't find very logical to put the two genders for every race if they don't appear in the story line, but male quarians? come on!

When I read that quarians would be available for the MP in the mass wikia, I was all happy about making a male quarian (my favorite ones), suddenly I see only female quarians like Tali. I remember seeing more male quarians in ME2 than female ones in the flotilla as soldiers protecting it. Reegar was amazing.

From what we see of all of the male quarians, they tend to be a lot of soldiers. Obviously this should be an option for male Quarians, the majority of the troops on the flotilla protecting them would be soldiers (you don't assign a techy to protect areas of interest). All the ground troops we see other than tali (who are alive when we seem them, that is) seem to fill the role of a marine, who would most likely be trained primarily in firearms, and would therefore most likely be soldiers.

And the funny thing is, with the exception of Tali, the rest of the ground troops we have seen are male quarians. Supposedly, the multiplayer must have some sense with the main story line, but only female quarians are going to fight against the reapers, when almost all ground operatives are male quarians?

Prazza's team in ME2 was duo-sex rather than all male (lot of female quarians on that squad) but when you look at basic quarian appearance, should it be a shock that most of them are male?
Male quarians are bigger and have broader shoulders than male humans do, which makes them even more suited for combat (minus the whole "omgz suit puncture!" thing). Female quarians are smaller and more limber than female humans are, so the male/female size difference is much more pronounced with quarians. It shouldn't be surprising that almost all their troops are male. That's also why I think the quarian infiltrator should be male, as opposed to female.

Quarian males bigger than humans males? I always saw Quarians as pretty small and lean. I mean, I've never played a dudeshep, so I haven't stood next to anyone on the migrant fleet with a male human, but none of the Quarians are really much bigger than femshep, not even that one warhawk admiral. I think the males' shoulders may look broad because they're not barrel-chested, and I personally don't think any Quarian comes anywhere close to 6 feet

They should do that at least, female quarian engineer and male quarian infiltrator, and everyone happy. I see a male quarian more as a soldier class, but if they are thinking on adding another race as a soldier in a future, this other alternative would be fine. I think that most of us just want to play as a male quarian, the class is not extremely important, in my opinion.

Kal'Reegar and pretty much every Quarian Marine seen in ME2!
