So I went male engineer because the only other classes that I want to play (krogan soldier and male infiltrator) aren't initially available. But I've found that power-based engineers are AWESOME AND AMAZING. I go in with nothing but a scoped Phalanx to push power CD as low as possible and clean up with a hilariously versatile tool kit. Seriously, just loving how my engineer plays.
Anyone else totally digging Engineers?

I have a LV19 Engineer called Dell Conagher. Once he hit LV14 yesterday, his Incinerate alone got me MVP on almost every match.
Jack-of-all-trades indeed.

Yeah, I love the pure caster human Engi. I use a Carnifex instead of a Phalanx, but other than that I basically play the same way you do. Easily my favorite class in MP.

I love it too, I wanted to play a male sentinel but wasn't available but I'm not sure I'd switch even when I unlock it.
Also been using just one Gun (AR) to keep a low cool down, level 6 overload that hits 3 people and stuns them plus an insanely low recharge time. Love the Drone too as he rakes up assists, seeking out things I didn't even know was there, or sending a new one behind a shielded man and making him turn round for open season.

Hm. Tempest instead of pistol. That's pretty much it though. I spam Incinerate relentlessly.

Why don't player Engineers get access to the same OP turrets NPC Engineers get access to?
Seems like that would only be fair.
Oh and my Vanguard needs and equally OP skill.

Yeah I love it. I feel like a Bounty Hunter from Star Wars. I have every tool to deal with every type of enemy, and I do it brutally effective.

Yeah not bad. My second favourite class after asari adept.

can't wait for an asari adept, but i love me some overload with neural shock... everyone falls over to be finished off by a phalanx

I only use Engineers. Combat drones have saved me so many times. And so has Overload.

I am very much enjoying playing Quarian Engineer.
My character uses the Tempest and Mattock, and is pretty effective with Incinerate and Cyro-blast.
Working in combination with a Soldier using Carnage, an Adept using Pull, a Vanguard with Charge, or an Infiltrator to finish an oppenent off with a sniped head shot - the multi-power combinations can be very effective.
It seems that I've made a poor choice in leveling up the Turret with missiles though.
Other Engineer players report better results with the flame thrower option.

I'm loving engineer. It's been my favorite class (along with adept) in every game, so I'm very happy they made it so fun to play.

Sadly yes. That Flamethrower is brutal.

Yeah, switched from human soldier to human engineer and I'm having a blast. Revenant + Overload and a little incinerating takes care of everything.

Engineer is one of the best classes in bronze/silver, imo.
Their skills are super useful and versatile. Best support class for me, as well as pretty damn strong, even alone.

I've never really played as an engineer before, so when I unlocked a Quarian engineer I thought that I'd give it a shot. I played till about level 10, then I grew really tired of the engineer. The turret is, imo, totally useless even when almost maxed out.

Try a human engineer.

Flamethrower turret earns me significant assist points and even kills. Don't discount the havoc it can cause.

I've always loved the engineer.
Incinerate + Overload (humans) or Incinerate + Cryo (quarian) ?

My human male engineer is the first character I got to lvl 20. Tons of fun if played to its strengths. Though getting the other characters seem to be ultra rare or unlockable on the demo. I've seen only 1 Salarian engineer IIRC and I can count on one hand and have fingers to spare the number of Quarian engineers I've encounters. Human female engineers it seems in completely unlockable on the demo. I have seen absolutely zero of those and I've been hoping to get that particular character if only to emulate my femgineer Shepard as that's my primary xfer character for ME3. LOL! Working on a Krogan soldier which I've seen a few others of but I have yet to see a Krogan Vanguard IIRC.

Engineer was my first and always my most favorite play through with ME. Looking forward to playing my femgineer Alexandria on March 6 first thing!

Yeah, I've tried every class but as soon as I attempted an engineer build, it had me hooked. I've always enjoyed engineer; it's probably my second favorite class in general. But I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was in multiplayer. I can single-handedly control an entire wave while the others pick them off. In fact, my engineer can pretty much do the bronze challenges without too much help; I can't do that with the other classes.

I wasn't as big a fan of the Human Engineer, though it was still an enjoyable class to play. But i am really digging the Quarian Engineer, i've heard a lot of divided opinions in regards to the Turret. But with the right placement, i have been able to get virtualy entire waves to huddle around in a group for one of my friends to finish off with a well placed Frag.
