I don't remember the details - forgot to take pics - but we could only beat Gold twice. Had two Asari adepts, a Salarian Infiltrator and a Human Engineer IIRC.

Stick together, or you're dead meat. Having a player with head-set makes things a LOT easier.

I'm not sure if beating Gold is even possible without Stasis Bubble. A team of friends and I were able to beat it on the white stage with two Engineers, and Infiltrator and my Asari Adept. Engineers place turrets/drones, Infiltrator places mines and does any movement requirements while cloaked, and I stasis bubbled EVERYTHING. We held up in that room opposite the LZ, and when an objective wave came up, we moved as a unit from location to location.

The biggest key is everybody having mics, nobody going Rambo (stick together), and everybody knowing his/her role. On Bronze/Silver, I like to dash into combat and mess stuff up with my Asari, but if anything happened to me outside of our little area, not only would someone have to come get me, but they could run into a Phantom (or five) without me being able to Stasis it. Likewise with an Engineer being downed and us lacking a safety turret, etc.

It's hard, but OH so satisfying when completed.

my 3 friends and I beat gold on firebase yellow? *whatever the non noveria one was) 2x last night. both times me and our infiltrator barely dualed wave 9 as phantoms wiped our krogan and adept. for the last wave we mostly just run around the map trying to avoid atlas's and phantoms untill the timer is >20 seconds.

we all had mics, and if we didn't, i can't imagine how much more hectic it would've been. truly was a great experiece and am i love with the mp now

We got to wave 9 on Gold on Firebase White. We didn't have great class diversification though.

1 Human Adept
1 Vangaurd

Me and the other Asari Adept spammed Stasis and much as we could. Made short work of the Phantoms. The Carniferex with it's 2x zoom helped out a lot as well. Anytime we had an objective we moved as a 4 man unit and held down the spot. We used Cobra Missiles only if there were 2 Atlases closing in on us or if the Atlas was a specific target for the objective.

What screwed us over was the turrets. Having 4 biotics meant that no one was good at taking out shields effectively. We could have really used Overload or Sabotage.

Next time hopefully we'll use 2 Asari Adepts, 1 Quarian Infiltrator and 1 Turian Sentinel if we manage to unlock them.

I would love to try gold, but every time I host and put Gold up, everyone either begs for it to be turned down or they flee like it's the Bubonic Plague. I was able to solo bronze as an Engineer though.

Yeah it was easy. Because I was an Asari adept and with my power cooldown of 147% positive I perma stas'd the Phantoms. And we campt inside a building all the time.

bioware should really ban asari adepts from gold

not that gold is easy with them around , but it does make it alot much easier

clutch saves against phantoms with stasis ... w/o them around , you can only hope you get out of range fast enough

Beat it here without a mic or Asari although we didn't get full extraction due to me dieing at 2 seconds lol so I lost 15,000 points on my final score . It was also our first try as a team.

Just invite me when you have a party ready to go. But I have slight lag issues, so I tend to play it safe

beating gold was extremely hard. But me and my friends on mics managed it without a asari, had a turian sentinel, a krogan solider and two human solider. We had two two-man fire teams, shooting anything that came are way. Also helped that two of us had revenants and a widow sniper rifle. Its all about the weapons you have and the people your with, teamwork is key.

We beat it just a while ago, setup wasn't anything special: 2 vanguards, 1 Engineer and 1 infiltrator.
Everyone saved their cobra missiles untill wave 8 and basically we used 2 each wave after that.
Chilled @ the corridor opposite of the extraction zone, had me as Vanguard bottom, 3 guys top which came to help when neccesary.

Phantoms got chewed up by charge/nova combo's, our sniper was mad good in owning guardians. Was a mad tense match tho, the easiest wave was the last wave lol...2atlas+3phantoms with 1 cobra missile

To be honest Mars was a lot easier than Noveria... >.> there was a lot more movement and the Atlas' could be seen from miles away. Easy targets for snipers and the defence removers. Before the Atlas even came close we managed to destroy it. Phantoms caused problems but it would appear Noveria requires a lot more combos than we had on Mars.
