I now humbly admit that multiplayer is one of the best things they could have added to the ME series.
Sooo much fun

Not when it comes to dealing with Phantoms
Drell Vanguard FTW!!
Funny for you to say that, a few matches ago I had to melee 5 phantoms solo, on silver. With a Krogan Soldier.
IT WAS AWESOME.

If you have a drell vanguard,an asari adept, a krogan soldier and a engineer, the game becomes to easy.
so this is not a PVP mp so that does not matter at all . if a team like that is full of experienced players then it will be easy not matter what character youi are using
It's actually pretty funny(and fun) really, an atlas mech can go down in three seconds flat.

Gave mine a Claymore and a Revenant. I walk through everything on bronze. Silver and up you gotta play smart, but on bronze the Krogan makes too easy lol and I love that!clerkenwell wrote...
I gave my Krogan Soldier the Widow and the Claymore. His power recharge speed is +200%, but he doesn't care. Who needs to Carnage when you have a Widow, a Claymore, and Rage?

On gold my friend tried to go brute on this 1 phantom with his level 20 krogan. He got pwned lol. But I later took on 3 Phantoms. Claymore + ninja flips = pwnage

lol you gotta phalanx it and carnage it before charging it and taking it down.
I'm gonna give my Drell Vanguard a go though. ;D

My only complaint so far, the targeting for melee is a bit whack, can miss alot if not careful.
Hey Kenock - Just to clarify, the heavy melee will lock on to your target if you perform the heavy melee while the target has a reticule surrounding them (the targets movement gets locked under the hood).
Yup, I use it to lock down phantoms. As long as you have your reticle on them when you charge you'll hit them.

She had full barriers i guess thats why he couldnt finish. Too slow
But my drell vanguard? He can also flip around and dodge just like the phantom and i can go tank on her no matter how much health or barriers she got

Seriously with Fort up, I can just Solo Bronze. On Gold matches it gets skeevy, but just don't be an idiot. Melee isn't going to deflect bullets, but use it to put enemies down that take the Claymore round to the face.

Anyone know a good build for a Krogan Soldier? Just unlocked it and make sure I do it right before I screw it up on my own. xP
Well the bottom talent is a must. Max it out ASAP.
Then it depends whether you want to tank/melee or if you want to use carnage. If you want to tank, ignore the casting powers (maybe take 1 rank in each) and focus on krogan berserker and fortification. If you want to cast, take carnage and fortification, making sure to get the one that reduces cooldown when you max out.
I like carnage and built for it, but in the full game I think Im gonna go no cast, all combat.

At least the Krogan stand a chance at surviving in such situations.

Thanks for the help! I like the idea of full melee, but a problem arises when you're doing a hacking objective or extraction where you need to stay in a group and can't leave. I had this same problem with being a Vanguard with Bionic Charge.
You don't have to be full melee. If you don't care about powers you can equip weapons as heavy as you want and not worry about it.
Melee will just be the fastest way to take people out, but you will still be powerful with guns, especially if you max out krogan berserker.
