I've begun to notice a few simularities and differences between races, for instance, my Turian Sentinal can't roll and is slightly slower then other races. The same applies to the Krogan. but I get the most kills with him and he seems pretty damn steady or slightly more then my other characters. This makes me believe that the different races have different racial buffs to them.  I assume this is about accurate, but tell me if you have a different opinion on it.

Turians= Most stable aim and weapon damage. CANNOT DODGE
Krogan= Most Sturdy/Hard to bring down and melee damage. CANNOT DODGE
Asari= Bonus to Biotic damage and recharage
Quarians= Bonus to Tech damage and recharge
Humans=Small bonus to all/most versitile
Salarians= large sheild bonus.
Drell=Fastest and best at dodging. less sheilding.

Drell are the fastest, but their barriers are pretty weak. I dont know what salarians bonus is...

You should note that both Krogan and Turians lack the ability to dodge. last I checked, Salarians have a pretty large amount of shields, but that's all I remember.

Salarians have higher Shields. (+50%?)
EDIT: Next time my comrade gets on Xbox Live I will try to verify that with him. Do not have a Salarian myself (oh but I want one.)

noted, that's pretty nice if that is true.

Krogans have to pick cover more carefully as well due to our size. Some smaller crates and whatnot leave our back hunch exposed.

Krogans also have the highest melee damage by far.

That one would be obvious, noted none the less.

Drell also seem to have the least amount of Barriers (250 instead of 500 like the humans). Makes them somewhat harder to run with, mroe like a glass cannon.

I was actually thinking about that myself, I did notice that a majority of Drell do die very quickly when over run.

I can confirm that, with the stock shield/barrier amount of 500, a Salarian has 600 shield; so, Salarians have a 20% bonus to shields.

I can assume that also means they get a bonus to it's recharge speed as well, 20% is good, but it seems a little meh by itself.

Just how much stronger are turians? I can understand the krogan who cant roll and dodge - they make up for it w/ stronger shields and health..but turians?...My opinion, if they can't roll or dodge, they pretty much suck. So I'm just wondering how much stronger they are with their weapons and if it's really worth it.

It actually is a big difference in my opinion, the recoil is almost none existent, and the aim just feels smooth, I have a sentinel, and I find myself using my secondary weapon which is a pistol more then I use my shotgun, though melee is still a must. I have a scope on it and I kill just about anything with minimum try, the damage I find is around 20% extra or so based on using the same gun as a human and then as a Turian. 20% might not sound like a lot, but it's the difference between a kill and one bar of enemy health left.

Likewise. As a turian sentinel, I can say that the damage increase is very noticable. Not only is melee more powerful (a level 3 in was capable of one-hitting anything with no shields, whereas my human could only do that at level 10 or higher). It makes the viper have about the same firepower as the mantis and turns the predator into a atlas-soloing piece of death. If you're wondering if it makes up for the lack of evade, no, it doesn't. In melee distances you are helpless against any form of combat and even dodging grenades and explosives becomes a real challenge, which regularly ends up with you getting downed and your team having to get you up again. If you can avoid frags well without rolling and are using a shotgun (to keep the phantoms away at night), then you should be alright

No, he took a missile to the face 'cause he did a noob-move and poked his head out when it fired it at him. whatever happened to "Duck and cover!"?

Edit: Waiting for the "Garrus blasphemy!" comment...

Blasphemy! Your argument has no merit! Thus it is null and void!

But all seriousness, seeing as you can't get the other class with Turian in it for the demo I find the sentinel a rather good class, lack of dodge can easily be made up for with the 40% damage reduction as long as you find a nice place to set up camp and snipe to holy hell. I personally use the golden level pistol because my god, it's a ****ing magnum with a scope.

Lack of anything can be made up with a scoped carnifex/phalanx.....Speaking from the perspective of adept/engineer power specialist that has more kills with those pistols. I'm not even sure if those are golden level.

Quarians and Salarians have +20% shields. They are slightly slower and have side-steps rather than rolls, which aren't as good for dodging.

Drell have -50% health and shields, making them very weak. They are extremely fast and have longer melee attacks.

Krogans have +100% health and shields. They lack any rolling, but have extremely strong melee attacks.

Turians have +50% health and shields, but cannot roll.
