What even affects it? Is it just because I haven't played that much and only as an engi so far?
I'm inconsistant on the ratings, 20k-30k which can place be at top or the bottom but even when I'm top the matches weren't a struggle, it's enough and so is lower to get by.

20-25 (not sure of the exact number as I just ragequitted because of how sh*t the connection is...) Only play as my Human Infiltrator and Asari Adept though and my Infiltrator is only ~ Level 7.

Around 40 for me (360).

All I bothered leveling past 10 is my Sentinel. Every other class has leveled up via recruit and veteran packs, and they're all at around 3-6.

I have a level 20 Adept, a level 19 Engineer, a level 17 Soldier, a Level 9 Sentinel, a level 5 Infiltrator, and a level 3 Vanguard. I also have the Mattock 9, the Widow 2, Revenant 2, Claymore 1, Avenger 7, Shuriken 9, Tempest 2, Hornet 2, Predator 8, Phalanx 5, Mantis 9, and I am sure I am leaving something out. Like I said....I played way to much of this seeing as it was just a demo.

The rating is affected by the total sum of all  the levels of your MP characters. For example, you can have a level 10 soldier and a level 20 Vanguard, so that would give you 30. The higher the rating, the more experience you have ( though you can have a 20 rating and be awesome, simply because you don't level up anything else and play only one class)

I imagine it will be useful for matchmaking/setting up games. Since you're allowed to change characters in the lobby, having one or two people with low ratings(Not much experience) join and switch to very low level characters could cause problems. There's no really 100% way around this (as was mentioned, someone could be AWESOME and only rate a 20 by only ever using one character), but that's the onyl reason I can think for it to be useful.

I don't play different classes much, so it's relatively low. Like 50 maybe? I forget. I only got 2 classes on max level. Vanguard and Soldier, but they are the best.
