It is really annoying that everything has to make use of the a button, please switch the revive button to the back, instead of a. I am very tired of having my character go to cover instead of reviving my friend and getting shot up myself as a result.
revive button should be back button

revival really is a pain, and sometime it doesn't even response. At first I tried to revive a teammate, no response... a second time, still no response... and now it's too late because the enemy is swarming at the spot... RIP

You have to make sure the ring aroun the friend is lit up, basicly have her at the middle of your screen. Else you're dead meat! But yes.. really annoying that one button is used for SO MANY THINGS!! >.<

I know its not part of the OP but medigel some times does not work, especially when you use it directly after you go down. You lose 1 medigel but it does not revive you.
