For those that have played the demo, did you happen to notice that beating something in the face with a gun does more damage and is more effective than shooting something? Besides the shotgun weapon every gun in the game basically sprays glitter. The bullets hit, the health barely moves and then the enemy falls over after you've exhausted way too many bullets. By contrast, charging the enemy and beating them to death is extremely effective. They stumble around, look dazed when hit and so forth. So let me ask you... what is more convincing? Screaming in agony when I punch you in the face or when I shoot in the face?

It's a gameplay issue.

Never had that issue myself. Most of the guns I fall back on using with every class seem to do real heavy chunks of damage, even more when in combination with powers.

I thought this would be a thread asking for glitter spray guns. Now that I know the truth however, I am disappoint.

This is only because in the demo we seem to be stuck with mark 1 gear, and no upgrades for our weapons while, for obvious reasons, melee scales more off the Fitness skills than gear. Considering my experience in multiplayer with a modded out Carnifex and a mark V Avenger, I'd be willing to say there are quite a few guns that hit like trucks.

This.  I thought Ke$ha was on BSN for a moment there.

I too was misled thinking this thread was demanding Glitter spray guns or glitter canons to make every enemy look like night club throw up on them. Darn

I demand  a flesh eating swarm of butterflies that i can shot out of a bozooka

I dont got the shiny gold guns, but I know my trusty Phalanx makes lots of mobs cry when it rips through them, if I spare them the mercy of being Warp Bomb'd

Agree with the OP. Even in multi-player I sometimes can't be bothered to empty all my clips into a phantom or nemesis. I'm still relatively low leveled; sometimes I flank and beat them to death.

Ohhh men! Not that again! Weapons are only good after the 3º or 4º improvment in MP. that explain why sometimes a Tempest SMG can be better than a Revenant if you only have your Rev at level one and your SMG at lvl 7.

My revenant its a pee shooter and my SMG Burns trough any armor. xD

Also... There are no good weapons in the Demo since now anyone can carry a widow or a Claymore it would be normal to nerf less powerfull guns.
