I've been trying my luck recently by playing a Human Adept (haven't unlocked an Asari yet) and got to level 16 with it. I hardly manage to get kills during the average round simply because I don't know exactly what I'm doing.

I have level 6 Singularity (Duration, Recharge Speed, Detonate), level 6 Warp (Detonate, Lasting Damage, Recharge Speed), and level 5 Shockwave (Force and Damage, Detonate).

With Singularity, the only thing I can manage to pick up is a regular soldier. If I manage to pick anyone up with it, I'll follow it up with a Warp and get a Biotic Explosion kill. However, this still takes ~5 seconds to perform and only works on basic targets.

Since reading about someone playing a Human Adept, I started to fill out Shockwave and, when in close range against bigger targets, I'll Warp -> Shockwave and do a bit of damage, but no kills from that alone, even on Bronze.

Could someone tell me if I am playing this right or what I need to do?

Edit: Also using a Phalanx with nothing else to reduce weight for best recharge speed.

I'm around the same level with the asari adept which is probably the best class.

Anyways, just remember you can still use your gun to kill. Don't focus on only using powers or your gun at any given time. Mix it up and don't relent.

Which weapons do u have? And which upgrades do u have?

My main character is a human adept. I'm not a skilled multiplayer guy but I can play with adept very easily. For the first few days I used Avenger assault riffle with scope - almost good like a sniper. However since I unlocked Carnifex I use it alone. One headshot - one kill.

I'm using singularity against normal enemies; or shockwave if there are a bunch of enemies. Or shockwave against guardians. Warp against shielded guys.

Hm, how's your Fitness and your your Alliance Training?
My first character ever was a Human Adept, level 20. I would use singularity, heavy pistol it a little then use warp, and it'd kill them and get me around 290 points per kill I think on regular assault troopers. I usually made it top 2 when it came to highscore.

I don't think it's a class that will get you many points if you compare it to other classes, unless it's an Asari Adept. Stasis + Mantis to the head is a killer combo.

Still, it's pretty fun to play.

You need a SMG for taking out shields rapidly (centurion), use shockwave for guardians. The singularity/warp combo is your bread/butter.
