That's not the ME3 menu though... the original menu has those different pictures for each one, and RPG is between action and story, at least, when you start up the demo.

Also why does it say Lazarus Project at the top? That's ME2's thing!

To people that have played the ME1 AND 2 games, it seems like just a menu, but people that are new to the series may pick action mode, thinking that it's the original way to play.

It's a pretty small issue, but I must admit that when I saw that Action Mode was the default choice in the menu it surprised me.

Doesn't anyone have any faith in human intelligence anymore, I doubt someone going to start up this game see the way its ordered and choose the top one without reading any of the descriptions.

For those arguing about the alphabet, this is what the menu actually looks like:

Who cares how others play? BW have given us the choice of playing a TPS or a TPS with a bit of dialogue; it's not like they're two dramatic extremes.

Simple solution, add a "(Recommended)" tag on RPG Mode.

Ex:  Action Mode
       RPG Mode (Recommended)
       Story Mode

Or just simply make the selection bar start on RPG Mode.

Maybe saving a kitten from a burning orphan. That's how you make a dark RPG bioware. :police:
