I've noticed there are never many posts about what builds people use on the Multiplayer. Sure, people say certain classes are good and what not, but there are never any "Take this, points here, take top upgrade not bottom, level this first, etc etc.

So, this thread will be for people to post any builds that they are finding to be effective, just state the class, the race, and go into detail about what you chose and recommend, not just "the Asari adept is awesome!"

Human CQC Infiltrator

Ideal Equipment:
Shotgun with Smart Choke. Personally I like the Scimitar for its mix of power and forgiveness. The smart choke gives it mid range potential, allowing you to carry only one weapon for minimum cooldowns
Heavy Pistol (Optional). Depending on the map and the other player's classes (I usually take it on White but not Ghost). Take the Predator, it's the lightest and can still be very effective as upgrades are very common (eg I have a Phalanx I but a Predator V, the Phalanx weighs more and the Predator is superior)

Powers:
An Infiltrator starts with 1 point in cloak and a free point, so add your first point to cryo blast. Cryo is effective in close quarters as a CC power, and at mid range to root enemies out of cover, because Cryo, like most powers can curve around cover. As you progress in level I recommend always buying at least the first point in each skill, especially the first passives - for one point they are a great investment. After that, focus on leveling cloak, and buy the second upgrade for your powers, which gives -25% cool down.

Cloak: When upgrading cloak focus on cloak time first and weapon (but not sniper) damage bonuses second. Having a longer cloak at your disposal really aids survivability in dire situations.

Cryo: Focus on minus Recharge and area upgrades. Freeze time and damage are secondary, you want to CC the maximum number of people with the shortest cool downs

Sticky: I'm undecided on this one. I see the appeal of +Damage upgrade choices for hardened targets like an Atlas or a turret, but you can also upgrade your sticky into an area proximity mine. Personally, if I was to max it, I'd going for the area proximity sticky, it just feels more infiltrator to me in terms of style.

Passives: Go for health and damage upgrades, ignore all heavy melee buffs you get offered, a shotgun almost always works better than your omni tool

Upgrading: You absolutely have to upgrade cloak to the highest level, it will be your main ability. After that, it comes down to taste, it is hard to say whether passives or abilities are more important. If you're stuck on a choice, try the riskier option, if you don't like it you can respec the opposite sex.

Playstyle: In essence you are the tech vanguard, albeit not as flashy but far less risky and far more survivable. Cloak is really forgiving to your tactical errors. Anyway, you start the game as a mid range combatant, shooting off cryo blasts to support your long range sniping teammates when the enemy has just begun spawning. When they press closer, cloak and, just like the vanguard, pick a target alone or (If a standard trooper) with one other whose cover can protect you long enough for your cloak and shields to reload. Don't be afraid to push deep into the map, it is easy for you to return. If you have a maxed cloak fire a cryo or throw a sticky before appearing. Repeat as necessary. When things get too heated, cloak and run, as an infiltrator it is ridiculously easy to get away.
Your main class weakness are the guardians. These enemies seem to know where you are even when cloaked and turn to face you. A carefully aimed sticky is your best strategy, but remember your sticky ammo is very limited. Phantoms can also be a challenge, but if you can hit them with the shotgun their movement will be hindered and you can finish them off quickly. Your main advantage against them is that you can flee if things aren't going well.
When hitting hacking objectives run there and cloak 10 feet from the device and approach. Your hack should be entirely hidden. When doing take and hold objectives alone, you can make it in the time limit, by cloaking, running into the bubble for 6-8 seconds, running out, uncloaking and running back in. Kill important enemy objectives are also easy because you can cross the map with relative impunity.

Other notes:
*Some people still seem really surprised when enemies can shoot them when cloaked. If you get too close to an enemy, they will see you and start spraying inaccurately. Similarly, if they see you cloak they will shoot at your last position.
*Don't use your heavy melee unless you're absolutely sure it will land. Note you can't heavy melee ice sculptures lying on the ground
*Quick cool downs are key to this build, try to aim for a  +50% absolute minimum cool down boost, in CQC you can't wait for your powers to recharge
*The above note means do not take a sniper rifle with you. ever. If you must have a sidearm, just the very lightest (predator)
*I haven't tried salarian yet, but i think cryo would be missed in a CQC build

Overview: Pretty forgiving and beginner friendly, but you do have to think on your feet to survive in any close quarters build.

Human Sentinel, playing it as a gimped Asari Adept at the moment since I'm unlucky with unlocks.

Typical Caster build with powers listed in order of upgrade priority:
Maxed Throw with [Force>Detonation Damage>Damage/Force] upgrades.
Maxed Warp, with [Detonation>Power+Weapon Damage Debuff>Cooldown] upgrades.
Maxed Tech Armor with [Damage Resistance>Power Damage>Cooldown] upgrades.
Maxed Human Passive [Both Power Damage Upgrades>Weapon Damage] upgrades.

Phalanx only, though other pistols or SMG's would work as well!

Spam Throw 99% of the time, Warp into Throw detonations on shielded targets or clustered enemies, Throw then headshot spam to deal with Guardians (pistol scope helps a lot with this), detonating Tech Armor is almost never worth it. Oh, and try not to cry when you open your veteran box and you find no Asari Adept yet again.

I feel like... this is turning exactly into Borderlands.

Now all we need is an actual build calculator with each evolution option.

Anyone have any other builds?

What your build is as an Salarian Infiltrator maybe?
