So I was headbutting an Atlas in the ass with my Krogan while my teammates turned on beacons. I saw it was about to turn around so I backed up a bit and shot a few rounds into it, but before I could run it did something I had never seen before.

It picked up my Krogan in it's claws...and crushed the life out of him.

Yes, the atlas can insta-kill if you're too close, and it looks like you were. It's not a good idea to stick around it closely for too long without backtracking.

Really? Never saw that. And i love charging the atlas on my vanguard.

Be very careful to back off from the Atlas after charging at it. It can and will grab and crush you, and it's similar to the Phantom's stab in that you bleed out instantly.

had bad luck yesterday must have died 4 times by the insta- grab as my vanguard held it off with charge/nova. sometimes its b/s though it comes out of nowhere, and i usually have a full barrier when it does grab me, it seems like a % chance that it will grab you.

-- i do back straight up as soon as i charge them,   it usually doesnt matter.  its just luck.

Maybe he just has a really slow connection. This guy is actually a saint, to have waited so patiently for so long. I probably would have closed the webpage after 6 -7 months myself.
