Will Bioware release DLC origins?
I am curious because I found them to be a really cool part of the game and there are a few Origins that could make for some cool ways to start such as:
Apostate Mage, Human Commoner, or Templar.
What others would be cool. Lets try to keep it realistic (as in something Bioware would actually produce) and not ridiculous (I read a post by somebody that wanted to play as a "good" darkspawn.)
DLC Origins?

Sounds like an expansion pack to me.

It would be hard to do it, a lot of stuff would need to be altered in the base game. But it would be awesome. I forsee community modders starting projects to do this in the near future.

On the other board, now closed, a developer stated this was very unlikely. Origins are referenced throughout the game, so require lots of work to implement new ones.
And I imagine that they're not as in demand as some people might think. This is personal opinion, but I suspect most players don't want DLC that requires them to start over completely to play just to experience some relatively minor variation. So the demand isn't too high compared to the work.

Two excellent points here, especially the first one.
Think of how often your origin is brught up during the game, literally hundeds of times. Any DLC for a new origin would have to add all of that content. I am unsre how much the human commoner origin was worked on, but it was cut due to time constraints. If we ever DO see an origin DLC I am willing to bet the human commoner origin would be it.

According to the other Human Commoner thread currently up, the only thing implemented for Human Commoner was Ostagar dialogue.Sloth Of Doom wrote...

I wouldn't mind a celeric (Monk)( for a class ) Or a dark elf (dunmar)(Race) in a expansions pack but not dlc it might take away from the content..
