No company would release a demo which gave an inferior view of there game. It was the same with the DA2 demo, and every Demo I've played. The demo is always the same quality (other than an obvious lack of conent) as the final game.

I'm not saying that the demo is bad, flawed or whatever, only that what you see in the demo is 99% likely to be exactly what you see in the final game- so "it's only a demo" arguments are naive.

And to tell you the truth the animations were fine.

Really?

This is fine?

No sane person with decent eyesight would believe Anderson's animations were alright. I honestly have no idea what Bioware was thinking.

On the other hand I don't think that FemSheps sprinting animation is as bad as some make it out to be. Andersons is dire though.

The devs would DISAGREE.

There are even "supposedly" leaked conversations between users & developers that sheds great light in this. We will just have to see.

In honour of that clip I've named level 1 "mincing with Anderson".

Such demos are always accompanied by "THIS DEMO IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FINAL PRODUCT" or some such , or the devs are quick to post on their message boards that its an early build.

No disclaimer on the demo and no sign of any devs saying its an old build..... draw your own conclusions.

There is a respetive user on here that apparently had a CONVO with a developer who said that the demo is "definitely an older build."

But there is no evidence that said conversation ever took place. If the developers really wanted to reassure people they would have made an official staement, not spoken secretly to one random guy.

It just sounds like a desperate guy who's trying to reassure himself with fantasies.

I have a wait and see approach here, when the real game releases wait to see what all the fan reviews are like. If its anything like DA2 then maybe EA/Bioware will drop the get it done in 2 year development life cycle for an RPG and go back to the 3-5 yr life cycle to get everything correct, but by then it might be too late for Bioware as a company to get there fan base back that they lose if ME3 turns out to be rushed like DA2.

I don't know. We're not exactly in a position to say, apart from speculating the matter.

Not buying it. If that were the case there would be no reason to not be posting it across the message board in giant letters.

Without a transcript who knows what was said , what was inferred and what was wishful thinking.

-Only problem with that is that Bio has to turn a profit for EA to keep them around. If they start loosing sales, EA will fold Bioware into an EA department faster than you can say "Bullfrog".

When I look at ME3 its like they "fixed" a lot of stuff that never needed fixing anyway and broke a lot more while doing do.

Had they just tweaked ME2 here and there and focused on the story 2 years would have been plenty.

All I'm saying is have fun with the demo I will and I'm sure I'll love the full game too. The Mp will hold me over till the EPIC story gets here.

Oh my gosh people chill out! It's a demo not the full game, play it, have fun, give feedback, quit ****ing haha. I am enjoying the demo, I am a real gamer so I have had no issues playing the game i.e. rolling, cover and whatnot. Relax people wait for it to come out. Why would they put all the dialog options in the demo? I have heard this complaint so much on this board, common sense people I don't want spoilers so why put them in the demo? I for one can't wait for the game. The story looks epic and the multiplayer is fantastic! Thank you Bioware!!!!

- Kind of like the story with "Syndicate". Did you see what EA did to that IP?

The gameplay of Mass Effect 2 was and still is broken. Bioware got a lot of flak for it.
Gameplay got just enough attention for it to be enjoyable in Mass Effect 3.

And the writers really don't do anything aside from writing. They don't influence the gameplay.
You can't blame Bioware for "not giving them enough time" when that is not the case.

-Its a bit of an oversimplification. The writers tell the story. The Gameplay and graphics support the storytelling. Id like to think thats the way it should be in Bioware.

Yeah that was quite a shocker. It's not even a good game or I would not have really minded the change of direction so much.

I played ME2 just to see if I was mis-remembering. If anything ME3 is a lot more broken if its like the demo. Or are you talking about MP ?

Whatever you write needs to be implemented, that takes time. If you are also messing about trying to rebuild the system as well that complicated things and takes more time. Games built on established engines don't take so long, but they generally tweak and don't redo things. Start messing around too much and you need a longer cycle to get everything done and tested.
