This is something that Bioware should consider seriously.
I'm raising this issue as multiplayer has competitive ranking, and the problem I will raise will cause people harm as a result of that ranking system.
As of this point with the demo, the more powerful weapons are single click rapid fire weapons like pistols or the M-96 Mattock (they fire as fast as automatics if you can click fast enough, as I do). These weapons are fine in single player, but in multiplayer I need to almost nonstop tap to fire as fast as possible.
At this moment in time, being able to fire that fast gives the player a big advantage over other weapons.
But I have decided to refuse using them as I want a functional finger after my fun ends, and I recommend this to others as well. no joke.
Possible solutions -
1/ Add a small delay between single shot and auto fire on these weapons.
or
2/ Slow down max rate of fire and increase damage significantly
or
3/ Do both.

it's co-op that's essentially not a problem, and if it was competitive MP the gun would be the least of your problems.

Op this is not PVP so that is not a issue and Bioware does not need to do any nerfing or else whats the point to even play it

The mattock is powerful because it is vey accurate and does a high amount of damage per bullet. If you're spam clicking the mattock constantly you are not using the weapon properly. The whole reason why the mattock is semi-automatic is to resist the urge to spray without aiming.

That might have been the case in Mass Effect 2, but that's simply not the case with ME3 multiplayer. In ME2 the mattock was extremely powerful because many classes had the ability to slow down time with skills like adrenaline rush. When time slowed players receive a bonus to the damage they do however the rate of fire of their weapon is slowed as well. In some cases you would end up doing less damage with adrenaline rush active because the bonus damage is not enough to makeup for the slower rate of fire.
The mattock is unique among assault rifles in ME2 because it gains all of the bonus damage from adrenaline rush but because it technically doesn't have a rate of fire because each trigger pull equals one bullet and thus can't be reduced. In short, the world slows down around Shepard but his rate of fire remains the same.
