Since Mass Effect 2 is currently only planned for X360 and PC, do you still get the armor for ME2 on either PC or X360 if you buy the PS3 version of DA:O? Or do you have to buy DA:O for either X360 or PC to get the armor for ME2 on those platforms?

Blood Dragon Armor will work for whatever platform you buy ME2 on, regardless of what you buy DA:O for.

It's been said that it doesn't matter what platform you get DA:O for, you will be able to use the ME2 Blood Dragon armor on a different one if you choose.

I'm spready heresay at this point, but it sounded confident every time I'd heard it previously.

there have been some rumors which i'm pretty sure you all probably have already heard. But ME2 might actually be coming to the PS3 ( Although it JUST a RUMOR so far).

Thanks for the quick replies. Another quick question (unrelated).

I was browsing a few retailers sites and noticed that the PS3 version (which I am leaning towards getting) has the collectible steel case and cloth map as physical items in lieu of the free DLC (stone prisoner and warden's keep) that the DDE comes with, which is fine since I would more than likely buy them after release anyway. But I'm noticing the PS3 version doesn't come with The Memory Band or the retailer-exclusive bonus item (at least from what I could find). Is this the case or am I just not looking in the right place?

I was just reading that earlier today actually. Bioware basically said "We could if we wanted to, but as of right now we aren't", right?

CrashMurphy: The PC CE gets the tin box and cloth map also, although it will be hard to find a copy this late.

P.S. - I would highly recommend getting it for PC, as most info points towards it being the platform of choice

I almost pre-ordered the DDE on Steam until I found out there were console versions. I don't have a gaming pc and my laptop struggles with most new games unless its on very low settings. The EA store says there are some PS3 CE's available, although that could just be the lack of updating the store page.

But I also don't want to get a console version if it means not getting the memory ring and whatever else goes with it.

Most likely you do not meet the minimum strength requirement yet ... or you're a mage.

If you type in the redeem code for blood dragon armor in the PC will it transfer the armor over to the xbox, because i have ME2 for the xbox but i don't have dragon agefor the xbox or the PC. so if i type the code in the redeem section of my profile on the PC will it go to my xbox if they are both using the same email
