That's how poor deduction works. It's like saying that because calculus is more complex than algebra or geomotry, the people who prefer algebra or geometry are too stupid to do calculus. The conclusion simply doesn't follow from the premise. If that's not something you understand, I'm not sure I can make it any more simple for you.

Let me ask you something: do you have any idea what you are talking about?

If we accept it as true that calculus is more complex than algebra, then it logically follows that a higher theshold of intelligence is necessary in order to perform calculus over algebra, meaning it is less accessible. Someone capable of performing calculus by necessity can perform algebra. Someone who can perform algebra cannot by necessity perform calculus.

Likewise, if Mass Effect 2 is "dumbed down" compared to Mass Effect 1, the OP's claim, that gives us greater insight into the type of player capable of handling the game. It's a craptastic phrase fitted around a craptastic argument, on his part since he doesn't even bother to vocalize how Mass Effect 1 is "more intelligent" than ME2, beyond some odd claim about exploration.

I think people should wait until MAss Effect 3 is out before wondering what the gameplay is like. Or, you know, play the demo.

End of line.
