They have a ranged attack that does quite a bit of damage. Simply running away from them doesn't always work.
The other problem with your idea is a vanguard charge wouldn't actually make it any more difficult to run away. If you get charged, you can just roll out of of their proximity while they're locked into their attack animation and generally avoid all the damage.

They are not hard to kill (as an infiltrator) but they can be dangerous if they catch you off guard because most of the time its too late to run away (silver or gold) because their "Super hands" which takes down all your shields and hp in a matter of seconds.

Sure they can catch you off guard & floor you, seen it happen, had it happen to me. Also seen other troops catch people off guard & take them down with heavy melee too.
Phantoms are easy to deal with if you're quick enough & don't take a...what...what is that anyway? Omni-katana(?)...in the back before you even spot it.

Just regular Swords, But they need to be buffed up. I'm sure when the game is released we'll have tougher none ceberus enemies. Like that banshee now she looks like she can do some damage.Beatrix Tair wrote...
