Yes: this isn't a technical problem at all but... Well, this thing is bothering me. A lot. And I don't know where else to post it, so here I am.
I've ordered two copies of the game from Game.co.uk, the CE version. Now, they arrived both but they are in the classic plastic case wrapped in a cardboard cover. I live in Italy and I know that there is CE in the metal tin: I've seen it in many stores and I want the metal one, not this ****.
So please, tell me if the european version is euro5 so that I can send back the two half normal - half CE copies of the game and buy an italian one.

Thanks.

P.S. I know, I know. Why didn't you buy the italian one on launch? Because I hate from the bottom of my heart italian localization, and so I usually buy games from UK or Jersey.

The CE I got for the PC came in a nice wooden box with a slide front lid. I actually was pleased with that as opposed to a tin cover.

Now if only the damned DLC would work that -zero- information for weeks on the threads on here has helped to make better. I basically paid tons of extra money for a wooden box and a cloth map that stinks from the inking.

LOL! "No tin bonus" achieved! (I'm laughing instead of crying, but someone must explain to me what's the point in doing 2 different version for the same CE if not for make me angry...)

Hello, hello retsam1

I'm sorry to hear about your trouble with the CE edition. However, I wanted to let you know how funny your remark recording the expense for the wooden box and a stinky cloth map. :)

Very entertaining comment, I'm still chuckling.

Enjoy my friend.

me,

Sumurai

I think that is the Asian a.k.a. Hong Kong version

The UK version of the CE version of the game did indeed come in a plastic box, not a tin (metal) case. Ask EA why this is, you must. The Italian CE should have the other languages in it as well. (a guess this is)

Game.co.uk were given exclusive rights to sell the CE version in the UK. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, EA decided that the UK customers would not get the metal tin or the cloth map. I believe the most popular theory was that EA wanted to keep the costs down for the UK market. Contact Game.co.uk and arrange for a return and refund, hopefully they'll agree. Then go look for another retailer elsewhere in Europe.

Game.co.uk's CE has no tin box and no cloth map. It also has only two discs (one game and one bonus), obviously, as the second game disc contains other voice-overs than English - German in my case. In Germany, the CE is in a tin box with clear plastic wrap, 2 game discs, 1 bonus disc, manual, pre-order codes and a cloth map.

If I remember correctly, Asia had a wooden box. The rating on it looked like some Asian rating board. Play-Asia.com still has a wooden PS3 CE for 70 USD. No region code. Others seem to be out of print.

I should have known that at the end this was EA fault...
And now, where to go to find this ****ing wooden box? Most sellers send to US, and shipping price from other countryes are enormous...

I hate EA. With all my heart. Go back to your NFS/FIFA/Whatever serial thing you've ever done and for god's sake bother us no more with your businnes techniques, please. Really.
