So after several unfruitful searches I'm here, just needing to know one small detail: If I purchase and download Dragon Age: Origins from the Xboxlive Marketplace, will it provide a code for the Blood Dragon armor/access to that DLC? I mean to play the game if I buy it, but I only want to buy it if it provides access to the Blood Dragon armor in ME2.

It should, but given the number of times I've seen gamers stating they never received it I think the system is 'broken' as it were. You end up having to contact EA support to get what you should have got.

Personally I would suggest just contacting EA support, give them proof of purchase and whatnot and ask whether they'd be willing to give you the Blood Dragon armour. Unless you do want to play DA:O (it's a good game and I only bought it for the Blood Dragon armour to use in ME2 back then), it seems to be a bit of a waste of finances.

OK, I think I can help, I recently ordered the game throught XBL too but there was no code sent to my email. HOWEVER, when you go to the marketplace add-on option and search for DA:O there will be an option to DL the armor through the marketplace. I hope that helps.I'm going to assume that it will open up the BDA in ME2 as well but I have yet to fully download it because I'm having network problems.
