Looks beautiful. I tried using this one on ME2, but it looks a bit oversaturated now. Guess ME2 would need different settings.

Yeah I had a feeling it might not look as great in ME2, but personally I like it the way it is. Only thing I tinkered with in 2 was the textures. I think I'm going to reinstall 1 and put Cinema Color on. If it works and think it looks ok lol I'll post some screens.

Does anyone know if this can work with ME1?

Just curious...

"If you also want film grain in addition to one of the above mods, then just copy the ./FilmGrain/effect.txt file to your ME3 Directory."

Do you mean the ME3 root or the binaries/win32 directory?

I've tried both and can't seem to get grain working.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't gotten it to work either. both putting the file in win32 or the base ME3 folder.

Well I installed ME1 and put the mod on. It does indeed run but does not look good at all. This mod definitely shines with ME3.

Probably just needs SL and palette tweaking then.

I missed film grain, to bad I don't feel like playing this game anymore.

On a side note, I know an entire community of students at my college who have pirated the game, after seeing how disappointed gamers were with the game. After watching the ending to ME3 on Youtube, they all saved their money and pirated the game instead. ENB works flawlessly to begin with on their machines since they by pass Origin entirely. I'm almost jealous.

What are the "subtle" changes in Gameplay Mod?

I love the bloom effect in lights but I don't like lack of color and "crisp" effect.

Nice job regardless.

Hey MrChowderClam, can you do a filmgrain only version? I'd like to try it. :)

That's already possible, just read the read-me included in the download. ;)

How do you turn on the AA, it doesn't look really different from the vanilla version.

It should just be on by default, if installed correctly. If you need additional AA, go into your control panel CCC or Nvidia's panel, and turn on transparency AA. It will enhance either versions.

IN-GAME:
 - Toggle ENB by pressing Shift+CAPS LOCK.
 - Toggle bloom by pressing Shift+SCROLL LOCK key combo in-game.
 - Toggle AA by pressing Pause/break key in-game.

What about the AA settings in the enbseries.ini file?

ME3 already comes with FXAA v1 (makes things pretty blurry - doesn't catch all the jagged edges). You may need to turn off in-game AA, and then enable the AA from this mod to see a difference.

This is confusing - I'll clarify it in the readme when I can (sorry, still moving out/in until the end of this week).

I'll get to those other questions when I can - sorry again :(

ps hotkeys shoudl be working I'm not sure why they wouldn't. also, I'll try to see if I can reproduce the problem with the new version of the .dll file causing CTD. if you haven't already, PM or post your graphics card specs and driver version :)

those do not work :( (AA is handled by a different part of the mod, seperate from ENB)

So it's just the FXAA tool then

Yes, if you are using FXAA, then FXAA tool handles your AA and (some) color correction settings. Unfortunately, there is not much documentation available, so you may have to play around with the settings.

Just to clarify, the FXAA PPI uses FXAA 1.2 (i believe). It's a better algorithm and allows for more tweaking and sharpening to compensate for the blurriness.

And yes, supersampling will always give the Best IQ, as it solves the aliasing problem by just rending a larger image to begin with.

I personally prefer forcing super-sampling in NVIDIA Inspector instead. Even on 2x, it looks far better than FXAA on max settings. Of course, your framerate will also take a hit too, but the visual quality is worth it, (at least to me).

Anyone know how to get the dof working in this mod as advertised in the video. I had a look in the enb series cfg and found it was not enabled?

DOF isn't part of the ENB mod, it's part of the modified coalesced.bin file MrChowderClam made. You must use the Coalesced.bin to take advantage of the DOF.

Or just use NVIDIA Inspector instead and get higher quality results that way.

Oh crap, I tried to insert the film grain and the game is crashing soon after I launch it. Did I do something wrong? :(
