And the installation instructions are a little vauge.
They say to put the files from CORE into win32.
Did that.
Then it says "Choose which mod you want to install: Color, Gameplay, or Original. Choose "YES" to overwrite enbseries.ini".
Is this also putting it into the win32 folder?
Also, I am doing the original mod and I take it that I have to take the files from within the "FXAA (deeper blues)" file and the "SMAA (smoother edges, better performance)" instead of just copying the folders over.
So my other question is do the files from CORE and the mod files go into the Win32 folder or the Core folder?

Everything goes into the Win32 Directory, that includes the files from the original. I believe he has them seperated as he does as you do not have to use say the deep blue if you do not want to you can keep it out and just use the SMAA for smoother without deep blue.  So do not copy the folders rather copy the contents of the folder inot the Win32 directory overwriting when prompted to.

You have to put the content of the Core directory into your 'Mass Effect 3/Binaries/Win32/ directory'. DO NOT put them inside the Core subfolder.

Once that is done, you just copy the content of whichever folder representing the mod you wish to install. For the Original one, you have to choose betwenn SMAA and FXAA (again the content of those folders) depending on which you prefer, NOT BOTH.

Guten Tag, everybody! Almost all moved into my new place here in Germany.
I'm working on getting those bugs fixed (seems like there was a small update to ME3 that is messing with ENB), and getting a tutorial video up, as installation can be confusing.

Which one is the one shown off here?

In the download I've got there is "colour enhanced", "original" and "gameplay/performance".
Which one is the "Best looking"?

That is the original one. "Best looking" - I'll leave that up to you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, which I why I included 3 versions. Personally, I use the gameplay version without bloom ;)

I like your mods, however I can't help but finding the result way to dark. I tried playing with the settings but can't reach any satisfying result. Thanks for the effort though.

Hey Chowder, Thank you for your mods, But i have problems with setting it up right and im scared im doing it wrong. I don't find your readme file how to install user friendly and it would be a great help if you can make a detailed how to install guide or a video how to install guide. Im sensing from other community members the are experiencing the same problem and i believe it will give you more cuddos in the end. In advance many thanks and looking forward towards your responds.

With regards,

A fan

P.s If any bioware community user feel the need to help, explaining how to install for dummies. it would be most welcome

@Dorryn - try turning up screen brightness. I have a custom .icc gamma profile installed on my screen, so while the mod may look fine with my monitor, others may need to play with the in-game brightness to adjust the gamma (without my icc profile, I have brightness set to +3)

Thanks for trying it out :)

Thanks for the info!

Unfortunatelly turning up the brightness was the first thing I tried, but it makes the image look extremelly pale if I go higher than +2 so I guess I'll try that for a while. And no I'm not using an icc profile. I'm lucky to have a monitor which doesn't require software calibration.

Also as far as AA goes I have the latest 301.10 drivers (with a modified .inf so I can use them with my GPU) and I activated FXAA in the control panel then disabled it on FXAA_tools and it works like a charm. Good enough deinterlacing for my taste with unnoticeable performance hit.

Has anybody else experienced the black screen issue on ME1? The game runs fine without ENB, but I get nothing but black screen and the mouse pointer with the mod (though I can see the ENB info in the top right).

I had to wait like 10 minutes or so for it to go away. Don't know what caused it.

So just was messing around. Reason the CORE d3d9.dll wasn't working for me was my game was out of date lol. Soon as I updated it, the current d3d9.dll worked for me. Seems the newest version is not compatible with the older ME3.exe.

EDIT : film grain is also working now.

Great mod. This may sound crazy but is there any way to remove DepthofField without sacrificing other effects? Often the game puts characters out of focus when they shouldnt.

I don't think DOF is implemented in this ENB series. it is however in the ME3 config exe in the Binaries folder.

Seems the new DLC today broke the mod. I'm getting the immediate 'Program has stopped responding' crash. Removing the mod the game launches normally.

FXAA Tool.

Also it's in the coalesced.ini file, I think Chowder edited some of the parameters in that file under BIOEngine.ini

Sorry for being a huge pain but I downloaded fxaa tool and it had nothing about dof. Also I couldnt find anything from mrchowderclam about DOF.

Again sorry for bumping something off topic.

There's nothing in FXAA tool for the depth of field. There may be some settings in the coalesced.bin but I don't know what they are. Sorry.
