COUNTER EDIT: What if you told the drivers to recognize it as ME2?

I'm not sure how that would work. I don't think ME2 ambient occlusion is supported by nvidia :( (the option is greyed out in my control panel).

ChowderClam: I love your graphical mods, in fact the ME2 one fixed the biggest issue I had with ME2 ( it was too colorful from my PoV ) but could you make a version of the ME3 one without the blue tint?

Definitely not for everyone. Exaggerating already excessive hdr lighting is rather questionable.

The 0.02 update (download in the OP) reduces the blue by quite a bit. You can also just delete the pallete.bmp image from the mod to get rid of the tint completely =)

Tried combining ENB and FXAA color correction. Came out half-decent (basically looks like cross-processed film).

Here's the link, if you want to play around with it. Install is the same - just extract to your ME3Demo/Binaries/Win32 directory. ME3_ENB_FXAA.zip [1.4 MB]

Thanks. It's a great mod and this one and your ME2 one fix the biggest issue I've had since the graphical improvements on ME2 ( too bright, too colorful ), could I ask to be allowed to use it for a game walkthrough on youtube when ME3 comes out?

I'm getting an error in nVidia Inspector when trying to enable AO. Specifically, when I try to do the "add application" step. The error message: "This application executable is already assigned to the following profiles: Mass Effect III." Since the latest beta drivers (295.51) already include a profile for ME3, should I just enable AO via that, instead of adding an application to ME1? Or delete the ME3 profile? Or something else entirely?

@CostinRaz - Sure! If you want, a link back to this thread in the description would be great (but not required by any means).

@Animositisomnia - On my phone, so I can't test this out, but in that case, just set the ambient occlusion compatibility for the Mass Effect III profile to the value shown in the OP (0x0000020 or whatever it is).

Then, scroll down to the ambient occlusion settings and set the first one to Quality and the second one to ON (I think those are the correct values - just make sure they are the same as the ones for ME1).

When I get back to my computer, I'll update my drivers and update the OP directions.

I have some weird bugs with this mod.
there is stuttering with cutscenes and they load insanely long, in-game - whenever a new model appears the game freezes for a second or two leading to desync between audio and video and last but not least - there is NO facial animation, no one blinks, moves their lips or grimaces.
Sure it looks glorious and without any performance dip(thou it's more of my rig being a monster).
IS this something on my end?
I haven't gotten to messing with the files yet and no one else seem to have the same prob.

What hardware are you running, and what parts of the mod are you using? SMAA, ENB, AO, or all? Does it happen when you toggle the effect (hit shift+F12)? Load times might be a problem with AO.

Also, I had this problem with the stock game as well (especially in the intro where Shepard is walking with Anderson). Try hitting esc or space to skip to the the part where you have your first dialogue option. Animations should be in sync when Sheperd speaks the lines for your dialogue choice.

cool, now I can use Anti Aliasing too, but with Ambient Occlusion the overall image looks darker.

Looking good. I made a demo walkthrough and liked it, as with all ENB the light sources are a little too bright at times and the darks come at a little high contrast but I think it's definitely an improvement over vanilla lightning, color looks less saturated too which I think suits the mood better.

The part I liked the most is that it doesn't make such an obvious contrast between i-game and cinematic videos like the scene in which the camera flips back from Shepard's face to the kid and vice versa.

Uh, I like the ambient occlusion, but I think that for everything else the game's configurations looks better and more easy on the eyes.

Do you have a 16:9 display or is the game forced to 16:9 even if you have a 16:10 display (like Assassins Creed)?

Nope, I have a native 16:9 display. You should be able to change res to 16:10 if you use the configuration utility though (by default, it's in Program Files (x86)\\Origin Games\\Mass Effect 3 Demo\\Binaries\\MassEffect3DemoConfig.exe)

I appreciate the work, but it's a bit too bloomy for me. I'd love to know if there's any way to tweak Mass Effect and get some proper AA ingame. I tried this and the jaggies looked just as terrible.

I've had no luck with Nvidia Inspector sadly. Not sure what to do.
