The installer isn't working for me, is there a way to install the mod using only the other files?

Hmm. This is very...odd.

After installing my new graphic card, the mod is conflicting with my game. Black screen - no loading screen. Just sound and the cursor.

I had this very same problem when I forced higher than 2x antialiasing through GPU control panel, for some reason MSAA doesn't seem to work well with ENB.

Hey peeps!

Stumbled upon this mod by random youtube-boredom (you know, youttubing random stuff when you're extremely bored) and I got quiete impressed by the youtube vid. Ofcourse I played through vanilla ME3 and vanilla 2 as well as the famous "moddb" texmod ME1 like a hundred times or such by now.

This made me interested in a new playthrough just for the sake of it.
But I have ben reading through the whole thread and chances seems like 50/50 to get this mod working.

Is the original post the "newest" version of this mod?
Is this worth a try considering all the mixture of success or will I likely end up having to reinstall the entire game?

Again, seems to be a really nice mod. Like what moddb fullpack texture mod did for ME1.

Yeah, Cinema-Mod looks great but as you say Yoshimurha chances are 50/50 to get it actually working =/ . I just use Smartecks FXAA Illumination Mod and it works really really well, I love it. :) I'll include the link for you if you want, but I bet you already have checked it out! http://www.mediafire...63ref8zx8g3ppna

I actually hadn't checked out that one. Thanks for the link! Much appreciated!

Got like 4 huge exam tests to go through in my logistics studies until the end of May so I figured I'll go nuts with trying to get these mods working after the end of May.

Will check this thread for possible updates.

Thanks again Inexistborg!

I've had no issues using this mod playing ME3 and have gotten much enjoyment from it. However, I've returned to replay ME3 after about 6 months or so - I haven't seen the Citadel DLC yet and thought it was time for a new playthrough.

However, using this mod's enb d3d9.dll I'm now receiving a "me3 invalid license missing dll: d3d9.dll" error on Origin (see screenshot below). Removing the d3d9.dll from the Win32 folder fixes the issue, but, of course, that also disables this ENB mod. Interestingly, SweetFX's d3d9.dll works fine as does FXAA tool and it's d3d9.dll however neither of those provide the look of an ENB. Anyone know a way around this issue?

I'm getting a weird bug where the brightness in the Cinema mod is now incredibly darker than before. I don't know what the cause is, but I just started up the game one day, and now it's too dark to see anything.

Can someone dropbox or mediafire the files for the Color version with no film grain? I can't get the mod to work

Installed with the autoinstaller. Worked on the first try without errors. :D
The only thing that has turned up is that one of my henchmen, in this cse it was Ashley on Mars, kept using her Omnitool every second. Almost like a cd with a scratch on it and the track/song kind of gets stuck in one place util you change it. Dpn't know if it is related but I never had this issue before I installed the mod. Really annoying becuse she doesn't participate in combat properly and I can't use her abilities.

Anyone who'd like to give a suggestion of a solution apart from slapping Ash in the face? :P
Nice mod otherwise! Really enjoy it!

Has nothing to do with the mod.

It's a Marksman skill bug with Ashley.  Often times, she was just sit there and try to use the skill over and over again.  That is the bug.

Not related to this mod.

Yeah I got that info soon after I posted. No blame on the mod then. :)
Still enjoying the mod. Really nice that it was so simple to install. Good work mod creator!

Really nice mod! Just have to say it again! No issues what so ever with the mod. Just installed with the auto-installer and viola! It works perfectly and I really enjoy the difference in-game! Connected my laptop with a full HD tv, and wow! Brought new life to the game!

This is really a mod worth trying out!

There are issues with Batch files under Win 7 and 8. Just shift-rightclick on your Win32 (inside binaries) folder and click "open command prompt here". Then just type "install_cinema_mod" into the command window. It does excute the same code inside the Batch file, but without the UAC issues.

Hi all

I know I haven't kept this alive for the past few years, but I've been working on the mod in my free time! I've been tweaking variables and colors to get things just right, and I've also learned a bit of HLSL and managed to make the noise filter change every frame, instead of having it be static like dust on the screen (hooray!).

I'll be making a final, definitive release of the mod for ME3, ME2, and ME1 in the next week so stay tuned. :D

looks good MrChowderClam !  = )

I've recently discovered how great is the ENB Bloom effect, especially under conditions of dark environments. It's not like the bloom effect on SweetFX, on ENB is much better. I have recently started to replay ME2 with ENB and SGSSAA (both new to me), but I'll stop waiting for what you're doing and then continue ME2 and ME3 too.

Saludos and already, thanks for sharing.  :D

We'll be waiting.

have fun (:

Just unzip into your ME1 or ME2 or ME3 /Binaries directory (the folder that contains MassEffect*.exe). Shift+F12 turns off the mod. If you want to install film grain, install the ME3 mod first, and then overwrite the effect.txt with the one in the ME3 Grain folder.

I do not know how you did it, but the image looks VERY different to any mod I've ever used in any game, I liked!. Thank you my friend for sharing this.

I'll try to use it with the rest of my games. Thanks A LOT!

Saludos.  ;)

Thank you so much for this :D
Just a quick feedback, I installed the Original mod and copied-pasted the effect.txt for film grain.
Unfortunately, it seems like there's a layer my game doesn't like, I just have a very dark and almost opaque overlay and that's it.
I'm thinking it might be your you new film grain layer?

Anything I should check?

Ahhh yeah - make sure to use the ME3 ENB I include in the zip (older versions of the mod will not work with the new grain!!).

So: Move the files in the mod's ME3 folder into your ME3 Binaries/Win32 directory (say yes to overwrite). Then, move the effect.txt file to your ME3 Binaries directory (yes to overwrite). That should do it!
