Hmm also don't work for me.
Origin overlay disabled, files extracted to Win32.
ME 3 crash right after launching.

Try restarting? What version of the mod are you using? If all else fails, you might need these two files:  (d3dx9_26.dlld3dx9_40.dll)  from the ENB download page.

I've been experimenting on using more saturation and red tint (I like the blue/red -> purple fusion). I'm not sure what to think though. I've been playing with this for too long lol. Here are some screens. I'm getting some KZ3 vibes from the color palette (which is a good thing), but I think I like the old desaturated versions better. Thoughts?

Note: The "bloom" in this pic is from the in-game DOF, not from ENB (ENB bloom is completely off).

Can you please make an injector version, so we can use it with Origin overlay?

I love this man! Thank you so much! I am looking forward to using it really soon. Just one question - I love everything in your 'cinema' version except the increased bloom - but I can turn the extra bloom off, huh? Can I manually control the percentage of these things? Sorry never used ENB before.

Again much appreciated!

Hmm, it is made for quite a niche market but it's nice to use from time to time.

I found the problem,
X-fire is causing the crash while using enberies for ME 3 (And probably other games too )

I'm patiently waiting you come up with a cinematic film grain solution in like ME1 and 2.

Anyway, I don't think the rest is up to my tastes and the game already slows in here but your work looks great nonetheless!

I love the ambient occlusion. Why it isn't an in-game setting baffles me. The ambient occlusion alone makes the PC version surpass either console version by billions of pixels.

Then tack on ENB, and set NegativeLODBias to -2 and the game just looks crisp and the true AA solution makes the game look even more realistic and high definition. Again, surpassing the console versions.

Finally, set the game to use NumPad+ and NumPad- to speed/slow down the game, respectively, and Mass Effect 3 is actually enjoyable. The sidequests on the Citadel and planetary exploration take seconds, not entire minutes to do, since you can speed up the game by 1000% making Shepard run like he's on crack on the Citadel.

Using the cinematic non-gameplay version for gameplay is pretty sexy lol

This is an issue outside the scope of these tweaks to ENB from ChowderClam, any/all overlays including ones from Steam and Origin can cause this issue. Unless he decides to work from a different build of ENB, which I think would be unlikely, than this is something you have to deal with. Luckily most of the applications which use overlays still can function, cept for if you want to join a friend via Origin since you 'need' the overlay to invite (though you can just get your friend to join you everytime and that will work)

I am unclear on a couple things here regarding this mod.

First, if you use the smaa version, do you have to disable the games standard fxaa? Or can I leave it on?

Second, with the AO, do I just allow use for it and not select a mode such as performance/quality? Or do I have to use one of nvidia's settings? The reason I ask this is because ENB has an algorithm for SSAO in the skyrim version, so I am a bit confused.

You can leave in-game AA on.

You have to use one of Nvidia's settings (though nvinspector - see OP for instructions). ENB AO is not available because Boris has not developed an ENB specifically for ME3 (and I don't know enough HLSL to code my own AO shader).

I currently don't have Photoshop installed, plus I've got college starting again, so it's a little difficult to modify any color pallettes from my mind. I'd use GIMP available from SourceForge, but again, I'm tied down by college responsibilities.

Hopefully MrChowderClam will get the palettes up and going soon!

Hi all!

Just wanted to say that I was busy with work-related stuff last week/this weekend, but I've been trying to figure out if I can get this mod to work with the ENB injector, so that you guys won't have to disable the origin overlay to use it (currently posting on the ENB forums to find out if this can work).

An update on the film grain - I don't think that I will be able to get it to look like it did in ME1/2. From what I gather, only the more recent GTAIV and TES Skyrim ENB mods have a timer variable, which means that I won't be able to make film grain that looks as dynamic as it did in ME1/2. Sorries! On a side note: the grain effect is definitely still an in-game shader (the scenes where Allers interviews shep in the captain's cabin has film grain), so maybe it's possible to enable via a coalesced.bin edit?

Finally, I'm hoping to get 4 versions of the mod released: Grain Only, Gameplay, Cinematic, and Color Enhanced. All versions will come with/without film grain (except for grain only, which must be used with film grain). The Color Enhanced version comes with tweaked FXAA configs that tries to mimic the detail preservation of SMAA (sorry - the color correction that I'm using needs the advanced tweaks that the FXAA PPI offers D:). IMO, it looks fairly close.

Anyway, thanks again for keeping the thread alive - I will be releasing these later this week =D

Also, I'll be adding the bit about negative LOD - thanks for the insights Jacen987!

Edit: More pics of the new color enhanced mod.
