i remember a day when when you bought a game for 50 quid you had the whole game and everything you ever wated in it, and more.
then we came to a point where they made us pay extra for things that should be in the game to begin with
now we have come to the point where people are asking to pay more for stuff that should be in the game already.
do any of you remember the time when for 50 quid you had a full game or have you all been born with the dlc indoctrination?
Depends on what you mean by "it should be in the game."
Just because you think it should be in the game, doesn't mean the devs, or anyone else thinks this way.
logic dictates that annything short of major changes should already be there
major changes: new campaigns like in shogun 2 basicly, in me2 possibly arrival and lair of the shadow broker tough at least the shadow broker seems like somthing that could have been in the game standart
minor changes: characters for who there is already room in the spaceship when the game launches(kasumi), alternat races (like geth) in multiplayer, basicly stuff that is little more then an unlock away from getting implemented, map packs, alternat apearance packs, little quests
and finally, annything critical to the story and gamplay shoudl already be there when you buy the full game
(most things like that, if they used to be missing before they would later be added as a FREE patch)
now i know you can't turn back the clock and dlc is here to stay:crying: but lets at least have some self respect and not ask them for dlc before the game is even launched and specially not for the stuff people are asking in here wich are mostly just an unlock away of being implemented

Story based multiplayer skirmishes. Where your group will have conversations and war scenarios.
This is absolutely brilliant. I would love this. I'd like to see my multiplayer character appear in the game's story, even if only to exchange a silent nod with Commander Shepard.
More armor customization would be nice. And more diverse skin tone options for aliens.

Also an explanation why only women are capable of sniping and becoming a cyber-ninja.

What I'd like to see as DLCs, however, are co-op campaigns that feature a more linear mission with pre-established objectives, and ideally several entry points the team could use depending on which kind of approach they favour. Maybe even a (very) short intro cinematic, ~10 seconds or so that show the team approaching and the characters step out of a shuttle. Also, it'd be cool if the number/strength of enemies would scale, so that such campaigns could be played by anything between 2 and 4 players with little change in difficulty, in addition to the usual Bronze/Silver/Gold settings.

Expanding the genders and classes for the races we have.
Krogan Vanguard
Salarian Adept
Turian Infiltrator
Asari Sentinel
Quarian Soldier
Drell Engineer
Also, female Turians and male Quarians
I'd say that Female Krogans and Salarians are a no-go for DLC characters, as none of them actually go out to other planets (If I recall, females due to the genophage and salarians just keep them close to home for some reason), this means that them canonically leaving their planet and fighting would make little sense (unless of course we see the genophage cured in the story and the salarians recruiting females into military during the story), unless they give a reason for them to leave in the story, it'd make little sense.
Female Turians (whom we have heard lore of them working in military) and Drell (who are assassins, which work for hanar and are never mentioned as only males becoming assassins) are plausible, as are male Quarians (who we know well work as soldier and special force operatives, more so than females as most of the males we see are either marines, special forces or combat personnel on liveships).
I myself want Male Quarian Soldiers playable in multiplayer, and drell and turian infiltrators, and then I'm happy.
Edit: Forgot to mention. Even though I feel nothing for having them in multiplayer, Geth are very plausible for an available race to play as. Just because we may be fighting against them in MP does in no way make them illogical to have. Legion is an ally, who is working against the reapers and we believe currently to be a part of the main Geth, not a "freelance" unit. therefore, if he is working to eliminate the reapers, then the other geth he is with would do so also.
Edit edit: Also. Joke races such as Volus will most likely be unplayable, but we may still see them in MP in the form of escort objectives or similar things. We already know that some "unexpected races" and NPCs may show up in multiplayer, so we may see these races show their faces.

As stupid and flameinciting as it is, I want a bipedal rachni race.
Rachni physiology kind of prevents them from standing up.
You know, with the whole "I'm a giant spider/bug/monster thing".....

I know, it's a heavy risk, but the priiize...
Just as I said though, it is a stupid thing, and plotwise it's absolutely horrible, but the mere thought of a playable rachni is just too awesome to stop dreaming about.

Soldier - Cerberus Soldier
Engineer - Combat Engineer
Infiltrator - Nemesis
+ Phantom, Centurion, Guardian
imagine actually being able to play as the phantom, sweet.
Plus we could customise the color of their armor.

- More Maps. Many, many more maps.
- More Enemy Races/Factions: Collectors mixed in with the Reapers (with Harbingers and that flying Mollusk), Mercenary Groups from ME2 (Blood Pack with Vorcha and Warren, Blue Suns and that other one), Indoctrinated Races (Mix of Asari, Salarians, Humans, Krogans etc.)
- Mixed Enemies i.e. you get dropped into an already ongoing fight between say Cerberus and the Reapers, have to fight both, with the AI prioritizing the biggest thread, they fight WITH you against the big enemies.
- More/Different In-Game Objectives
- Interactive Environments with tactical applications: Open/Close Doors, Hack Automated defenses, explosive barrels on convenient ceiling mounted conveyors...
- Fortifications: Those Cerberus Cover Nodes and Reaper Barrier Generators could add a lot of fun
- Big Boss Battles (like the Human Reaper in ME2)
- Different Last Wave Scenarios: 20 second countdown before everything explodes and you have to reach the shuttle going through enemies; 2:00 minute countdown including objectives (Shuttle can't land before you do this - and if you can't make it, someone can try to stay behind),
- Anti-Air Segments ("They're bringing in reinforcements. Take them down before they can land") with stationary AA guns to break up the pace
- Co-Op Missions: Mission-like Objectives in tighter but longer levels: Go there, kill that, take this, use it here, get there, kill what's left, wait here...
- A Race with PULL and WARP
- A Custom Character for each class that is unlocked after reaching N7 level 120 that lets you choose three powers from within one class's powers how you see fit (Custom Adept, Custom Sentinel etc.)
- A level cap that doesn't leave points unspent.
- Ability to Map powers to buttons. I know, three powers three buttons, but sometimes the same power is on a different button in different classes, or you'd like the "Y" power to be on one of the shoulder bumpers for easier access.
- A Custom Character for each class that is unlocked after reaching N7 level 120 that lets you choose three powers from within one class's powers how you see fit (Custom Adept, Custom Sentinel etc.)
- A level cap that doesn't leave points unspent.
- More Points for reviving people
- Points for stopping an enemy from executing a teammate
- Ability to use Medi-Gel to revive a distant fallen teammate
- The less people, the more credits
- The less people, the weaker the enemies

Maybe a HUD element or notification if someone equips their Missile Launcher so you don't waste two missiles on one target.

That's already an option: it's called communication with other team members via a mic.P4NCH0theD0G wrote...

1) Bring back the Collectors as an enemy class. I realize they were wiped out in canon, but this is multiplayer. Let's have fun. I'm pretty sure the ME2 assets have all the Collector ranks that other enemies do, so I imagine some fine tuning is all that is needed to get them in the game.
2) Random enemy composition option. By that I mean:
a) different individual ranks to be mixed together in a match OR
In Point A, an enemy units could have Husks, Centurions, Geth Pyro, Brutes, Atlas. Each enemy category is made up of 6 classes, so any equivalent class from a different category could appear in combination for a full set. Point B should be self-explanatory.
3) Match Bonus Conditions. An extra, optional goal could be assigned to a match that provides a bonus to players if achieved during the match (with or without extraction). Conditions could include scoring so many headshots in a match, keep players from falling down so many times, don't use items for so many waves, etc. Bonuses could be extra experience and credits, getting to keep the equipment bonuses you used, one-time discount on a pack purchase, etc.
4) New Equipment Bonus items. Some of my ideas for cool effects include:
-Chance of instant shield regeneration
-One-time chance of being automatically revived.
-Explode when knocked down, cannot be revived for remainder of wave.
-No reloading animation (weapon draws directly from full shot count, even removes animation from Single-Shot weapons, but time delay between shots is appropriate)
-Reduce total health in a match to increase shield strength.
-Reduce total health and shields for instant power cooldown.
-Have armor instead of Health for a match.
-All shots have chance of critical damage.
-Chance for instant power cooldown.
-Chance for Heavy Melee instant kill.
-Chance to regen health/shield after enemy kill.
-Random equipment effect.
-Dodge roll deals light melee damage.
-Running deals light melee to enemies.
-Reduce total health and shields to earn extra XP/Credits.
There are other things I'd like to see, like new characters, maps, and wave missions, but I can't think of anything specific or something that might be unique to request on those subjects.

Still waiting for this to happen. Hopefully next DLC. Also want more Salarians. Hopefully no female characters.
Also nice guesswork everyone from ten months ago.
