What exactly is Weight Capacity, and what specifically does it affect?

I believe it affects how much your weapons weigh you down, so the higher your weight capacity bonus, the less your cooldowns will be. But, there is something else I had noticed that is making me think it is more than that.

I noticed that in the Official Math Formula topic, they mention in the first formula that it is used to calculate damage, force, impact radius, etc. Then I read this:

New Value = Base Value at Rank 1 * (1.0 + Sum of all rank bonuses + Dynamic Bonuses)

Dynamic Bonuses are from things like your passives and weight capacity. So you could have 100% bonus total by having a 70% bonus from weight capacity, 10% from wearing certain armor, and 20% from your passive power. Note, this value is expressed as a floating point number so 50% = 0.5. 100% = 1.0.

That seems to imply Weight Capacity can affect power damages and effects, also. Has anyone noticed if this is the case? Any specific examples or formulas that can confirm this?

Where did you get that ? and how can weight capacity affect power damages and effect ?

All that i know is the more you go "overwieght" the longer it will take your powers to cool down .. so if you are an adept and want to focus on using biotic powers .. equip one pistol .. and your powers will cool down very quickly (the less the weight the faster the cool down) .. if you are a soldier and don't want to focus on powers but on weapons .. so you will carry two or more weapons (then the heavier you become the slower your powers will cool down).

It is pretty clear in the demo MP weapon equip screen .. there are even passive skills that increase the weight capacity for some classes.

Right, I understand that. If you read my post I acknowledge that first. But the quotation that I cited came from the Official Math Explanation topic, and seems to imply that Weight Capacity affects more than just cooldown.

Also, the exact relationship between capacity bonuses from powers and cooldowns has yet to be explicitly revealed. For example, does an additional Weight Capacity bonus of 10 equate to a 10% cooldown reduction? We don't have this info yet.

I did not interpreter the text as if weight capacity will affect your power damage, which the demo verifies.

My conclusion was just that is was an example of what a dynamic bonus could be, not what it always is. I.e. if you check further on the page we get a formula for how the recharge speed is calculated, which once again has a variable called dynamic bonus. In-game it is apparent that your weight capacity affect just recharge speed, since that is the only thing that changes.
