How is jumping towards a brute with a small blade "badass"? It's stupid and is a lame attempt by Bioware to make SHepard look "cool" which it did not, it made me facepalm. Everything was good until Shepard decided to jump towards a BRUTE.

Meh Why not? They showed a formation with the Normandy and multiple Cruisers flying in Atmosphere even though we know that Cruisers can't fly in Atmosphere well. The Reaper scaring the kid looked smaller than usual and was just there to troll. Why didn't it attack someplace else huh? Shepard has also gone hand to hand with a freaking Yahg and didn't get destroyed. This time Shepard actually has a weapon that can cut through thick materials.

Who in the world said they couldn't be in atmosphere?

You know, if someone said that about the FemShep trailor they'd be labeled as sexist.

We have so many freaking Sheploo trailers it's not funny. FemShep only gets one and that's it. This is why many of us FemShep people are dissing Sheploo because she isn't getting the same screen time and same promotion time as Sheploo. And no it wouldn't be seen as sexist it would be seen as someone saying they don't like FemShep.

No it would easily be seen as sexist (even though it is not) by many rabid fem shep fans.

Male shep will be on the trailer more often than Fem Shep due to marketing reasons. No point in constantly complaining about it especially this late in the series.

Plus from an advertising standpoint, "Sheploo," a name I despise, just lookes wayyyyy more badass than a female Shepard would. I'm sorry but that is fact.

Personal preference. Fem shep looks more badass to me especially in the Fem shep trailer.

What's wrong with Sheploo?

The problem with Sheploo is that he is in every single freaking promotion, advertisement for this game and FemShep is in only one. That is the problem with Sheploo. If FemShep got even half the advertisement and promotion for the game then it'd be a different story.

Its marketing. Its just biased predisposition. Also honestly want to say the femshep trailer was not a fem shep trailer IMO. They just made it to make the people shut up.

No Sheploo is only iconic because Bioware made him that way. If they had promoted a dual Shep cover from the beginning with Sheploo and FemShep on the cover of ME1, ME2 and now ME3 then it would have been not so iconic as it would have displayed that there was more than just Sheploo. But they didn't. That is the point.

One of the Bioware devs actually said that Dreadnought in the demo wasn't supposed to actually be a Dreadnought since it contradicted canon. Again artist screw up. Cruisers can fly in Atmosphere but not as well as a Frigate so it would seem unnecessary for them being in atmo.

And well, if BioWare and especially the PR department actually thinks female Shepard doesn't "look badass enough" in comparison, they only have themselves to blame. Given they've created her in the first place.

The "Take Earth Back" trailer was about 25% as awesome as the Dragon Age 2 Destiny trailer. I am disappoint.

The Trailer is titled "Take Earth Back Trailer." The trailer before that was "Fall of Earth." It's clear where the focus is.

You said that ME3 is all about saving Earth, and while iits definately advertised that way its really about saving the whole galexy and all the races.  I know THIS trailer's focused on earth, that is why I mentioned the trailers for different planets idea. Similar to MW3's teaser's on different parts of the world.  

The original point was, "Why isn't Garrus in this." He's not in it because it's about Earth. If they do a video about Palaven then he'd probably be around for that one.

I'm still aware what the Op was asking, but the reason I replied to you in the first place was because you originally  stated Garrus wasnt included because people were probably "sick of seeing him". 

That is what we call a joke.

Even so that is why I replied, I asked why you how you got "sick" of seeing a video game charactor.  

Then the subject moved on to earth and the other planets in ME3.

Male shepard is more marketable than using both Male and Female shepard. It appeals to the majority more easily to use the former. Doesn't mean anything canon wise so it doesn't bother me in the least.

"Badass" is not a measurable quantity, so no, it's not. That's an opinion.

Marketing-wise, Sheploo makes sense because BioWare is aiming at teenage boys and young men (note Needed to be Sexy and the bombastic action sequences). Whether marketing toward a female demographic would significantly improve sales remains to be seen, but in the meantime, that's not going to happen any time soon.

TMP is right Sheploo is not more badass than FemShep there is no fact in that. Your opinion is subjective. I think FemShep is more badass than Sheploo but you'd say my opinion is just an opinion even if I stated that FemShep is more badass than Sheploo and that is a fact.
