The trailer was pretty cool but what happened to Anderson's "We need every species and all their ships..."?

It was great in the ME2 CGI trailer when we were shown that Shepard will be working with Jack, Thane and Grunt: recruiting the Galaxy's best individuals to fight the collectors. Shame a similar theme isn't shown this time with the forces of other species. I would love to have seen a scene of the Turian, Quarian and Geth fleet above Earth conducting orbital bombardment while Shepard leads an army consisting of Asari, Krogans, Salarians and humans on the ground.

Come on Bioware, make it clear that the story isn't just about the overused "humans regrouping and defeating an invading alien army", but rather all the species working together to fight a force that threatens the entire galaxy.

We see Turian ships in the trailer.

Really? Where do you see that?  All the ships I see have the design of an alliance cruiser.

It was a great trailer, although admitadely I enjoyed the Mass Effect 2 trailer they showed during the NFL playoffs, actual in game footage without showing any major spoilers. And Ashley did NOT look like Ashley, other than that, pretty amazing trailer.

I think the reason she doesn't is to keep that female fanbase interested. She's right up there on the front line with the male Shepard.

We're not being sexist we are just getting tired of not being marketed to. If that is being sexist to you then you've got some strange ideas. If you look at it the complete marketing for just Sheploo and almost little to nothing for FemShep is sexist. Now that is how I see it.

But you don't need to be marketed to. You're kind of beating against a wall in this respect, because, let's face it, if BioWare were marketing to it's fanbase, the trailers wouldn't play like a nonsensical, bombastic action film teaser. They would play like a dating sim advert emphasise the story's customisation and aspects of science fiction.

You can see the soldiers from a distance forming a perimeter and all of the sudden there is a crazy man jumping
with an omniblade to those things.
