It's never enough. The internet is weird like that.

Okay, where's that pic of Shepard doing a banzai on the reapers, that would really fit right now,OdanUrr wrote...
FINISH THE FIGHT
The hilarious thing is, for all this forum's crying about the Gears series, GoW's advertising is leaps and bounds better than Mass Effect's.Heather Cline wrote...
They need to market to other people not just the males and not just the fps people and run and gun types.
I'm guessing you've never actually seen Gears marketing. If they figured "Let's go all Gears of War, we have enough momentum from the RPG fans as it is!" it'll be a pity and ME will go out on a whimper instead of on a bang.

Nobody said anything about Ashley's hair yet?
shush people are arguing about more "important" matter
Not really. That's like saying Bayonetta gets points for having a strong female protagonist.jcolt wrote...
so does ashley standin right beside shep not give them any points for marketing to female gamers?

Ashley is really female shepard
Think they're both doing the same thing, in a way -- GoW already has the shooter fanbase so marketing tries to catch interest of other groups. ME has the rpg people hooked so they drum up the 'you can shoot men' aspect.Random Jerkface wrote...

Gears marketing gave me chills.
"Mad World" ftw
Yeah. I'm actually generally adverse to shooters, but the Gears trailers intrigued me to the point I was excited enough to buy the game on launch. Turns out, whilst it wasn't bad, it wasn't to my taste.Borrachofunk69 wrote...
Random Jerkface said it. The trailers for GoW made me want to play it. They moved me. Then I found out the game was not for me.

Like why mas male shep in the trailer?
Fixed.NOD-INFORMER37 wrote...
I get what you're gals and guys are saying, but what exactly would you want Bioware to do to attract more female gamers into Mass Effect? Other than showing the main character as a man/woman?
I mean maybe its just me, but I couldnt care less about the main characters gender when I look into a game. I focus more on the style of game, and whether I'd enjoy it or not. Because either way, regardless if its "Sheploo" or FemShep we're still going to be playing the same thing. =P
