gameplay wise, ME is pretty much halo in 3rd person. universe wise, the reapers are pretty much the Covenant

Think they're both doing the same thing, in a way -- GoW already has the shooter fanbase so marketing tries to catch interest of other groups. ME has the rpg people hooked so they drum up the 'you can shoot men' aspect.

I mean maybe its just me, but I couldnt care less about the main characters gender when I look into a game. I focus more on the style of game, and whether I'd enjoy it or not. Because either way, regardless if its "Sheploo" or FemShep we're still going to be playing the same thing. =P

Another fix. There is no canon Shepard, Bioware has tstaed this many times and that is why Shepards gender is never stated in the books/comics.DJBare wrote...

you really believe that? the mass effect movie made me realise there will be a canon
