the marketing for this game is so poor, God it's depressing. the poster for the trailer was more interesting. all this stupid cgi trailer is, is explosions and chaos and fighting, and if that's all ME3 is I will seriously be done with BioWare. EA sell outs.

Didn't like much the trailer the last thrird was pretty much a blash but the second third was a bit off, it breaks the rythm of the trailer IMO

Femshep trailer is still my favourite, with Special forces and the Nigel Fishnchips's one

Yes, I really do. There's definitely a default (read: the most boring path possible), but canon there is not.

The film is just an iteration, as far as I'm concerned, and has as much to do with my game as someone else's save file does. Honestly, I don't even know why they bother. I've yet to see a decent video game film.

How can you look at Halo, and think "Oh yeah, Mass Effect is like this"? If you're gonna compare Mass Effect to ANYTHING, compare it to Gears... And they're only similar in combat, everything else is completely different.

The movie can have its own canon too.

Dont get me wrong, they should stay true to the worlds, timeline, events, etc, but itd wouldnt be horrible if they put added some originality. :P

Right there with ya man the Mako made the whole Trailer worth it was afraid it was just going to be the hammerhead but they had both!!! :wizard:

yes my friend, a game about an apocalyptic galactic invasion by evil machine gods is bound to be very action oriented. this game will be very action-heavy, so this is your heads up on the matter.

besides, i don't get it, when ME2 was advertised people were up in arms about the spoilers. now that you have a marketing campaign that focuses on the premise of the plot, the action and the gameplay elements, people again are not satisfied because it doesn't showcase the story. seriously, can you ever be pleased??

trailer seems awesome, can't wait for the full version!

Their still going into revisions with the movie. First I thought great, now not so good. Hollywood today fails at actually doing research.

I know, it's just that Shepard's leaping at an enemy like that, especially that particular enemy, is quite the leap of faith and I was immediately reminded of AC.:D

I thought that the trailer was pretty cool, the CGI was great etc. Was kind of weird how Shepard only had 1 squadmate with him, but ehh considering how Ashley is the "pretty girl" of ME3 (like how miranda was everywhere in ME2 marketing) I suppose that's understandable.

I wish they would have actually taken on a reaper though instead of husks.
