How do you guys know what this **** is?  I guess I don't pay that much attentiont to minor details.

What do you mean ? The "winged" ships are turian, they look like cruisers but move too fast so they must be frigates, and the background ships are Alliance cruisers. Considering both types of ships are seen in the Battle of the Citadel, i wouldn't call them "minor details ". 

Throughout the trailer, the vehicles that were shown were:
Alliance Fighters
Normandy SR-2
Alliance Cruisers
Alliance Carriers
M-35 Mako
M-44 Hammerhead
A-61 Mantis Gunship

Yep, those are definitely Turian cruisers there, along with the Alliance cruisers.

I know, it's damned ridiculous.  I have half a mind to ignore the damn trailer completely now, since there will no doubt be a Special Edition Director's Cut, with 3 more seconds of the Illusive Man picking his nose, being aired next week during Big Bang Theory...

Seriously. Bioware, a lot of things have been annoyed your fans lately, and being the George Lucas of trailers may not be the best thing...  My two cents, anyways.

It is really simple. They can't show the full trailer on television. It has to be edited for content and trimmed down to fit in the time allotted. They are going to release the full version of the trailer online where those restrictions are not present.

I disagree about the Carriers. From what little info there is, the Alliance has only one carrier, a "SSV Einstein"; even if the Alliance raised that number to 5 somehow, by definiton, Carriers stay out of combat, as written in the Codex, while in the trailer those ships are the in the middle of the fleet and actively participating in combat (with direct fire). As such, i still think those are Dreadnoughts.

Very logical... but my issue, perhaps not properly explained, is that the process has been Trailer 1 "see more...", Trailer 2 "See more", and now Trailer 3.  Had the "trailer schedule" been posted or explained beforehand, I would feel less "stringed along".

The Cinematic Trailer was awesome!  Hearing that there is going to be an "Extended Edition" version released tomorrow.Has me wondering, is it going to add 15 to 25 seconds of more content; or will it be over 3 minutes long like the Mass effect 2 Cinematic Trailer?

I hoping it will be the latter and not the former; because as cool as the trailer was.After it ended.My fist thoughts were: "Thats it?  Is that all we get?"

I wanted to enjoy it but I couldn't because it was so terribly cheesy.
Typical "epic" music. Typical fast paced action scenes, soldiers slowly walking towards the camera, etc, it's like they followed the "How to make a cheesy trailer!' guide step by step.

And yes I know this is something that has been beaten to death and beyond, but I really don't like Ashley's look. Somehow it's even worse in the trailer than ingame.

So, are you guys studying the wiki site for this info in your spare time or is it part of the novels, etc?

I can barely remember the Citadel battle but remember Geth ships, Alliance ships and the Normandy.  As for class and name of individual ships...wow.  That would take more time investment than I am willing to devote.
