That would've been my comment. Sorry about that. Was watching the trailer on an iPod and kinda missed the Turian ships in all those quick shots.

Yeah, I know. I just don't understand the appeal of these CGI trailers. They're like music videos. The music isn't enough, it also needs a little movie to go along with it. I just find the whole idea rather stupid and pointless.

It's called "advertising".  I hear it's a pretty popular practice nowadays.

I can barely remember the Citadel battle but remember Geth ships, Alliance ships and the Normandy.  As for class and name of individual ships...wow.  That would take more time investment than I am willing to devote.  

Personally, i know this stuff from the game codex, which is also the source of about 90% of the info on the wiki. I agree, knowing all the stuff in there is tedious, i only got the general stuff about starships because i find them to be essential in any worthy spacefaring sci-fi (otherwise their story might as well be set nowadays).

Yeah, I knew Tie Fighters and X-Wings but couldn't tell you an A wing from a B wing.  And, the only reason I know of those last two was from the X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter PC game from way back when.  Anyone remember that one?  I think Mass Effect needs a mini game like that with the Normandy.

I did in an earlier post in this thread.  I loved that it was Renegade Shep.  It worked for this vid as he was a complete badass in it.

I'm kinda half-expecting for a Mako in the trailer to trip over a husk, roll for several meters, land on his back and then explode. Now that would be realism.

There appeared to be some cool live-action and CG in that trailer. Could've done without the 30-secsonds worth of advertising the demo, though.
