this show is usually unwatchable, but this episodes been pretty good.

I was strongly considering starting to tune into it and then they went and fired almost every writer on the project from the first season. I can't really condone that sort of behavior in a network, especially when said show's first season was such a winner both ratings-wise and critically. Just not cool.

I swear, if the kid dies anyway, it just reaffirms my position that Walking Dead has no consequences for renegade and paragon choices.

LOL.

the writing was pretty awful last season, it's much better this season, but the plots been slower than anything.

Yeah, I mean, hey, why the heck not; this episode at least doesn't seem to be so bad anyway.

Wasn't that because of budget cuts? I only followed the first season.

this reminds me of that south park episode with everyone waiting for the commercials. You know the one.

We talk about show and then we talk about trailer when it comes on. The show is actually really cool, I was going to watch the first season but I decided not too. Watching this episode, I may start watching this show. Bioware you're my hero.

As I understand it this is all technically classified as episodes from the 'second season' -- forward and back halves as they like to say these days in TV land. And the new writing staff had a harsh transition, as things tend to happen.

Most of the show's viewers aren't going to be aware of the huge turnover in writers simply because statistically speaking most people in any audience don't know the nuts and bolts nor do many of them even care to, but that's as good a reason as any for the problems with the forward half of the second season.

Fans will say its a character study about the will of the human spirit, the conflict of people working together in a desperate situation and the unifying urge to survive. In reality it's just a s**tty excuse to watch zombie crap.

They went ahead and fired all the writers, then the lead writer (pretty much the only guy left) bailed. Can't exactly blame him. They brought in a new team despite the show being such a hit because the network couldn't support the old team's plans financially. Or something.

Oh, I'm sorry. Well that's an opinion I haven't heard before, but admittedly I don't exactly keep tabs on this show. Just know what my friends say.

For my money, the zombie gig has never remotely interested me but I saw an episode of the first season and... well, it was handled better than most attempts, at least, I guess.

Oh okay then thank you. I just got done watching The Simpsons and totally forgot about this until now. I hope it's as good as people think it will be. I can't say much about the show though.

I'm not big on cinematic trailers for BioWare games. None of them have really appealed to me thus far. If I end up enjoying this one I'll be pleasantly surprised. If not? Well, no real skin off my back. I'm sure it will be watchable.
