Most importantly, it seems like there are so few people playing getting a full group is rare.

In other words bots which are not planned to be implemented.
BioWare has stated they aren't planning to implement bots? How hard could it be -- they coudl use the AI from the single player games, tweak those...

That would make for some really great scenaries and role-play battles.

doesn't seem to be the case for me , only takes a couple mins for me to get into a group

Yep, now think about what it will be like in a year or so when everyone is done with the game and there is a very low population.random1102 wrote...

Bots would not only allow people to practice as others have stated, but also allow people who maybe pick up the game much later after release to experience roughly the same thing as people who played on release.

Indeed. I'd support having bots added in, probably through a post-release update pack since the game's gone gold already.

Not only was it GREAT for training and testing out character-builds, but it was also a lot of fun for when I just wanted a quick 'relaxed' game or felt like setting up scenarios on different maps.

My best friend and I just love co-op gaming. We tried getting a group for about 15 minutes and then decided to take on the game with just the two of us... but both of us immediately thought 'Why not fill spots with temp A.I. bots til someone can join? They have the A.I. from the single player.'
It just seems like there are only benefits to it. I hope BioWare takes notice.

I would like this, but I agree with a previous poster that the bot should be booted if a real player wants to join.
Absolutely agree

Besides, it's nice to interact and form strategies.

Plus... I have a feeling most people will turn to playing with bots than people - but multiplayer is more exciting on gold when you're playing with people.
Translation: People will play the game differently than I, and that's bad.
Also, my way of playing is more fun. So fun that everyone should be forced to play that way.

Harsh.
I don't mind the choice to add them. I just won't add them then.

I wouldn't mind seeing it as some sort of "practice arena" for new players to get to grips with mp and for people to try out new builds. But nothing should influence the mp game.
