 So I was looking into the "Alliance Training" Rank Tree & "Quarian Training" Rank Tree. 
They both have a perk stating: "weight capacity increase" I was wondering - if you choose this perk, would it make you stronger in the weight capacity department, thus, making the items you carry become lighter?

I am looking to further decrease the weight of my weapons so I can increase power recharge time.
I already know about the perk that grants 20% weight decrease of all your weapons & the strategy of running around with one gun. I was looking to see if there is more options out there besides just those two.

Yes, that's what it does. Even one point will increase your weight capacity.

So yes, it will make the weapons I carry lighter as well?

No, you just can carry more

The idea is that this way round the threshold at which your weight would decrease is increased

Right. I understand the threshold ceiling being pushed up more. I just thought as a added effect to that, you would had became stronger, thus making your current carrying load lighter.

Thanks for clearing that up. Any other decrease weight options/ strategies/ perks out there?
I am currently building up a Engineer class with the Quarian. 

While I am in here as to not start another thread. Anybody knows what *Sabotage* does for the Quarian Infiltrator?

If you take the +weight bonuses can you get above a 200% power cooldown bonus? Only reason I would take it spam Chain Stun Overload like it was an Assault rifle.

Nope. The thing is, that you might eventually be able to carry heavier guns without their weight impairing your bonus.

I started with only a Predator on my Engy and now I run around with an Avenger without dropping below 200% cooldown bonus.
