Not hating, loved the first two games just a couple of things I'd like to be improved and am dissapointed they are not already in place.

  • Whilst crouching behind cover, in order to fire at the enemy the only way possible was to stand above the cover exposing the character. In ME2, it was possible to lean out the side and fire but this feature is missing
  • When the character does attempt to shoot (standing straight up-which is a very compromising position to fire from), a large proportion of the screen is covered by the character's body. Aiming then becomes difficult forcing the player out of cover to fire. <- Illogical for a cover based system. This was not a problem in ME2.
  • Like ME2, there is no option to crouch when not in a designated cover spot. Why not? The lack of this feature is immersion-breaking and again tactically illogical.
  • When using the scroll wheel to change between weapons, there shouldn't be an option to select weapons with no ammo. It's frustrating having to scroll twice in the heat of battle because the rocket launcher was accidently selected.
I read an EA FAQ that stated that text-chat will be implimented which is at least good news.

I'd love to hear what a developer has to say about my comments.
