Quick, simple question?

My vanguard is level 20, and she has all powers maxed except shockwave, no points there.

That said, you have to max the class power, charge in my case, to pull it off, otherwise you won't have enough points.

Yeah shockwave is surprisingly useless, but it comes handy now and then. I'd much rather have pull as I don't have any long range powers I can use from safe distance.

Spec my Vanguard for minimal cooldown... Check.

Carry only a pistol.... Check.

Spam Charge and Nova.... Check.

Always win..... Check.

You get 84 points total @ lvl 20

You have 5 skills.

Each skill is 1+2+3+4+5+6 points = 21 points total

84/21 = 4, so you can max out 4 if you put zero points in the 5th skill. But realistically, youll max out 3 skills with *some* points split between the other two.

i wanna max out all powers for shepherd and if possible all teammates. i dont understand why the guys are being held back. this is the finale right. why not go beyond the usual that has already happened in me2. can it be done using gibbed save game editor? if possible, pls explain in detail.

Four can be maxed or three with some points in all.

Common builds include (without regard to the order of the numbers):

6/6/6/6/0 (uses all points)
6/6/6/5/3 (uses all points)
6/6/6/4/4 (leaves one point unused)

Less common but occasionally used:
6/6/5/5/4 (leaves two points unused)

Since this is the multiplayer forum, responses to this thread deal only with MP point allocations.  To be honest, I'm not sure if you can max everything at level 60 in single player.  I've only finished one playthrough, and I think I was around level 56ish (?) when finished.  Now that extended cut is out, I'm mid/late in another playthrough (started a brand new character in ME2 and imported it), though I've been spending more time on MP.  I anticipate maxing my level this time through, so I guess I'll know then...
