I have a decently high level character I think 17 and a couple of lowbies. I probably bought around 8 veteran packages. In all of them I only got 1 new shotgun, 2 new characters. I got the same repeating stuff that I already had.

I really want a salarian infiltrator. Is best way to buy the recruit packages? Because I ant being lucky with veteran.

Whenever you receive an item that you already have, that item gets upgraded.

However, I know what you're feeling. I keep receiving shotgun and shotgun component upgrades, even though I never use shotguns.

I hate getting character training to characters who have everything maxed out, it's just a waste of cash.

Its been said by devs the main game has a purpose for this, its just something people have to deal with in the demo.

I'm not a 100% sure but from what I've seen it's not just a training award you're getting..... meaning even if the guy is maxed out xp wise it still counts towards one of the appearence unlocks for that character.. Skin tone, Lights, Pattern, etc ....

All I've ever wanted was a Krogan Soldier.

I've gotten 4 Salarian Infiltrators.

It's driving me mad. I ,for the most part, use assault rifles with no secondary weapon. I have 2 assault riffles. The highest one at mkII. I don't use snipers. I have 3 snipers. The highest one at mkVII with 1 unlocked attachment at mkIII. I wouldn't mind if i was getting a bit of everything else too, but, for instance, I have had zero unlocks or upgrades for the pistol. Zero. This is ridiculous.

try it with a around 100 or so vet packs and even more recruit, you don't get **** past level V mods and basic guns only go up to X and I've gotten way to many human character packs to even count them.

No wonder you want one, Krogan soldiers are great. Remember those insanelly difficult Krogans in Mass Effect 1? Its like playing one of those...
Maybe you get one in the full game.

I wish there was an easier unlock system for the characters, like simply paying for them. But i have to deal with it like everyone else, I'm getting an alien in mp even if it kills me lol

It's quite annoying, especially getting character training for maxed out classes while after over 80 veteran packages I still have no carnifex, revenant or claymore in my arsenal. It's so annoying...

Today, I finally got an alien unlock. It was an Asari. I'm not a fan of Asari.

Other than that, the only character upgrades I get are things I never play. (Male human soldier/Male human Adept/etc)

I've also been getting guns I never use. I was getting a good amount of Shotgun upgrades, but that ended when I got a completely new shotgun. (figures, once I start using them almost exclusively.)

Yeah, I haven't unlocked a single character even though I'm level 17 and have bought god knows how many veteran packs. I'd happy to get ANY sort of alien. But alas

My level 20 human female vanguard with all appearance unlocks no longer needs the 12,500 xp and appearance unlocks from the store. Thx.
