Forum threads make you look like a drama-queen. I doubt the person that upset you is on here reading forums, that person is probably still trying to decide how they want to level up. Other people don't care. Thanks.

But yeah...sometimes you unlock new characters or level up, so you pretty much HAVE to change your character in lobby. Unless of course you prefer to give your squad a handicap because you couldnt wait 20 seconds for one of them to level up their character....

Although changing classes to avoid duplicates is good, please customize your characters before your search for a game. I have seen numerous individuals holding back the full team today, I mean for 20 seconds or more. Since all your customization options are retained, there is little reason do it on the fly. If you really need to do it and have a mic, please let the rest of the team know. Thanks.
OH TEH NOES, I MUST WAIT 20 SECONDS FOR MAH TEEM.
grow up. would you rather have a team member who isnt set up to properly assist your team, or one who is? I always go through my teams weapons and change my to suit the situtation best.

yes. But look at this sitution. (Happens to me often) imagine joining a team where alll 3 of the other people are rocking just snipers or just shotguns. Sometimes it is smart to be the one to take a little more time and change up your weapons to add a little veriety to the team.iEscaflowne wrote...

I wish the lobby would have timer of 1 minute that forces you to be ready.
Doesnt need one, since it has a ready button and the option to kick people.

It does need one since a 1 minute timer is an infinitely better method of having people be ready.

Forcing them to ready is not the same thing as actually BEING ready.
If they arent ready, here could be some reasons why:
-not done leveling up their character
-afk
-switching between characters
-just unlocked a new character, attempting to set them up
-just unlocked new guns/mods, attempting to equip them
-choosing which perks they are going to use.
now, if you force them to be ready, then they obviously didnt finish setting up what they were trying to, or they are afk, not even at their controls. So which of any of that is beneficial to your squad?
No....its fine the way it is. If you are impatient...ask them to hurry up. If they dont respons, or are taking too long, kick them.

The last thing I'm going to do is leave the lobby so I can waste 30-45 minutes fighting disconnects, level 1's who never ready up, and 2 man lobbies that never fill up.

Debate Note:
When making a point about exccesive wait times, it is best to use an example-number higher than 20 seconds.

Yeah, God forbid someone having to use the bathroom and not wanting to find another good group to play with.

Customizing your spec/gear a bit before a game is fine as long as it's silver or gold.
Going afk while everyone else is greened up is not and deserves a kick.

While I agree 20 seconds isn't long and I'm usually willing to wait, I do feel like common decency is to leave the lobby if you're going to spend some time customizing a freshly unlocked character. It's what I do, rather than force a bunch of people to wait on me.

Learn some patience.
What is the saying?? Patience is a virtue.
Get that virtue, a longer wait time is preferable, instead of a gimped team because you couldn't wait for them to level up and set up their gear.
