Just by the act of speaking you divulge a lot of concrete information about yourself so it is a privacy issue.

Okay..

One in a million chance someone is analyzing your voice to stalk and kill you I guess you will be the one to survive.  Otherwise its just kinda..being social.

I have seen situations where people don't use there heavy weapons to destroy Atlas in absolutely critical situations (in silver), and lost the game due to that. Situations like that made me kind of mad.

Also I think most of the players don't talk much (which is not a bad thing), I also mainly use mic to warn others about an enemy.

I've ran into a few nasty people.

When I first tried the multiplayer and before I got the hang of it, I had a few people yelling at me and calling me a noob and retard and few other choice words. I had one team where 2 people who were apparently playing together and hosting the game left and dropped because I wasn't the right class for their team. I kind of expect this kind of thing though, I do not usually play multiplayer games because this stuff is pretty prevalent and always had been in.

Luckily, other than those few times, I've managed to get together with friends and have been able to avoid it.

got some infiltrator d-bags on my first crack at silver(i'll admit i was doing kinda bad) but they felt the need to tell me i shouldn't use medi-gels when i'm being gang-banged by 5 centurions. also i was playing a vanguard they felt the need to try and tell me how to play it not nicely i might add, they were also acting as if they were gods gift to earth by just saying me and this other dude were bad and need to communicate with our team whilst they were only babbling on and NOT coordinating anything, needless to say i got a bad taste in my mouth for infiltrators after that who runs away from fights while not having the balls to at least be shot at while running(cloaking).

that's the only bad experience I've had so far actually met a cool person which is rare haven't added a new friend for at least a year

Yeah. Gold too. There's a difference between using your missile when there are just two widely separated Atlases on a non-objective wave, and using your missile when there are four Atlases, backed up by Phantoms and Engineers, swarming the objective marker from all directions.

I enjoyed many matches in Co-Op. Its almost always a positive experience.

There isn't a hardcore talking crowd on the Xbox 360, but when you do you almost always get support from everyone.

I've even had a match with a younger kid in his early teens and he was helpful and informative, as well as, friendly.

One thing that I see here is people complaining about Level 1 characters joining 'Silver' or 'Gold' game types. I understand why you would be angry, but the Demo doesn't make it clear the differences in difficulty. The default setting is Random. So most likely, these people just pressed ready with the default settings and were shuffled into your game without realizing the consequences. I had done it many times my first few games until some explained to me the differences.

I like being in Spectator Mode. Especially since I have awesome teammates who can carry me through Gold. XD

Exactly, and even when the Atlas are getting close to almost melee-range with number of units following them, some people try to take out the Atlas using standard weapons.

I would like to say if i accidently get myself killed stupidly i usually use my medigel to revive myself or i tell my team not to worry about reviving me so they dont get themselves killed trying. If i get killed by a phantom I let my team know and tell them just to forget about me or i use my medigel if she didnt one shot kill me for the wave.

Haven't run into any annoying persons yet. Then again, I don't think getting into heated discussions on a forum will lead to people being dicks in mp.

ME3's multiplayer doesn't leave a lot of room to be a douche.

It's not like Gears where you can steal Horde fortifications. And it's not like they can team kill at all. The worst they can be is a lone wolf who isn't helping the team.

Besides, have you seen the Dragon Age II forums? They're just as bad or worse than any multiplayer forum I've been to. The bile there is regretfully impressive.

Kicking can be a problem sometimes when people kick others for no good reason.

There have been only two instances where I've actually heard someone get on the mic. One guy said he was looking for a lobby that had two slots open (or something like that) and another guy in battle said something I couldn't understand. Other than that, there's some decent amount of teamwork if the players are skilled enough. Yes, some guys may not want to revive you ASAP but if you take a look at the situation they're in, they might not have the chance. Sometimes attempting to revive someone during the round isn't worth getting yourself killed. Overall, if people have an idea of that they are doing, you can go a whole match or two without jumping on the mic. If the party leader wanted me to turn on my mic, I'll do it. But for the most part, I have my mic off since my PC is in a designated "computer room" where my parents also use their computers.

I love Lone Wolf Guy.

He always rages on how no one is around to revive him and he is always getting curb stomped by Cerberus.

I usually give him a well deserved HA!

Just experienced abuse in a so called "friendly" game by people from this forum. Was called a d..khead for accidentally being near the edge of the landing zone at the end of the mission. Whoever did the abusing I think mouthing off anonymously to make yourself look big is pretty low and you need to have a long hard look at yourself before you start calling other people d..khead.

Concerned, no. Terrified is closer to the mark. Who wants to have people either insulting you, or be kicked out out of a game/have other leave because you're still learning. I mean, how else do you learn? But when I hear the stories/see the threads that have come up regarding newbies, well, it doesn't exactly make me feel like joining a game.
