Concerned, no. Terrified is closer to the mark. Who wants to have people either insulting you, or be kicked out out of a game/have other leave because you're still learning. I mean, how else do you learn? But when I hear the stories/see the threads that have come up regarding newbies, well, it doesn't exactly make me feel like joining a game.
That pretty much sums up my feeling on this, only I find it simply absurd to have the same stupid system in real life employment in a freaking game. Terrifies and stuns me at the same time.
But as I said the experience so far couldn't be more different then what you may expect from these forums with all the lists of requirements to play with them, hate for players who aren't that good in a game out less then week and complaints regarding the unskilled getting equipment. Oh and lets not forget those not wanting to waste thier time playing with new players in a demo that will reset all progress too.

I'm a pretty decent player - adept level 20 but if anyone is interested in a poilite non competitive friendly game where how you behave is more important than how you play my gamertag is mand0l1n

I've played a few games with random people over the last few days and haven't had any real issues. Everyone has been friendly and laughed it off if we didn't make it to extraction. Even added a few people to my friends list since our play styles worked so well together. If you come across people who are abusive on the xbox just use the review feature to avoid them in the future. Don't let the jerks ruin your fun.

Meh. I have seen much, much worse forums. This forum have pretty high standards compared to some of what I have seen.
The majority of the people I have played with didn't use mic, so I have no idea what kind of people they are. And I usually don't play with the same people for many rounds.

Aside from people vulturing some of my melee and other kills I don't have much to complain about. Nobody has been abrasive online ... the worst folks you will usually see are those that simply don't know how to play as a team and just do their own thing.
