Playing a quick Bronze match is good for getting Credits, which you need for unlocks.
Silver and Gold Matches can take north of 30-40 minutes depending on the team, and there is a good chance the Team won't even finish the match, meaning low to zero credits.

New characters dont have a clue how the matchmaking works, or what the levels and difficulties represent, or even how to change it (took me a a little while to even figure out i can actually search for JUST bronze...got put in so many silvers and never realized it when starting).
Coming to the forums to make yet another thread complaining about something that cant be fixed isnt going to help. I guarantee that the only people that are reading this, already know how and what to search, so you are preaching to the choir.

Yeah, it can be annoying.
But I think Bioware should have made the difficulty levels unlockable. Because a lot of people are going straight to gold or silver. I met this guy today on the game who I played some silver match with, he talked how people are being ****s at him just because of his level. I said to him to try the bronze levels first.
Not everyone knows what is reccomended for people. I played some bronze matches with the guy after it and we had fun.

If anything, high levels on bronze is great considering how fast you'll be able to complete the rounds.

I think it's because new people choose "any challenge". Maybe I'm wrong.Sleepicub09 wrote...
People please stop putting your
lower lever characters in Gold matches and higher lever characters in
Bronze matches.
I agree that it should set some requirements for public searches.Thunderfurby wrote...
Haha yea, keep getting level 1-5's in Gold with an identical N7 rating, quite annoying and needs to be fixed for retail, at least for quick matches anyway.

Anyway, I got kicked from the Gold instantly. Not exactly a warm welcome.
And why can't we chat? The Internet has had chat technology for 20+ years, but nothing in ME3 multiplayer?

Edit: Low levels on Gold I can agree with, though. No amount of skill makes up for low level powers and equipment.

I can never find any bronze, and the first game I tried to enter was a Gold because I didn't know I could select anything different (those arrows on the search screen are not very intuitive).

Did you choose "bronze" as search criteria?

Steal Kills? I never said anything like that nor did i say i was competing with anyone I know what co-op is.MrAtomica wrote...
High levels in Bronze are good. That means you win every time, meaning everyone wins everytime. This is a COOPERATIVE venture, not competitive. You cannot "steal kills" when you all get credit for everything. If you would prefer to make the game harder on yourself, refuse help when it's offered. But for every one of you hyper competitive types, there are two more who would gladly accept some easier wins.
Edit: Low levels on Gold I can agree with, though. No amount of skill makes up for low level powers and equipment.
