 I am a decent high character and i play bronze because i seem to always help people. I get messages of people saying Thanks for Helping, or something like that. (not trying to toot my own horn) and when i was a lower level i liked higher level characters they helped me out constently. And honestly i prefer to win then to play 5 silver matchs and get as much money as i would wining a bronze match.

Yeah, I agree with you. It is fun to help people out.

I got my soldier up to level 5 in two matches, on bronze, so why are low levellers going on silver or bronze? To level up faster?

I'll think I'll stick with Bronze, play it safe.

Agree with the OP on LL players in silver or gold, but not with HL players in Bronze. I fully intend to show teh nOObies my all singing, all dancing Mattock once I hit the level cap and have unlocked everything

More like, DONT LEAVE THE LOBBY JUST BECAUSE I'M USING A LOW LEVEL CHARACTER. I do random challenges, so if I see that the Challenge is Silver or Gold, I will change to a higher level character. Look at my N7 Rank. If it's 70 and I'm using a lvl 5 Adept, chances are I got a high level alt.

I never do that even if a low level character is present. i figure if they have enough skill it might work unfortunately I haven't found that yet.

I've never once seen a group of bronze lowbies complain when I use my vanguard to mop up a few quick games and power level them in the process.

Those that do complain will probably stop when you let them know that they get everything you got at the end. Nothing like a win win.

Some people like to be competitive. I got to admit I get fairly annoyed with snipers who clear an area I'm working on.

I generally don't use snipers. Even if I do, this game ain't competitive. Sorry, that's how it is. Competition belongs in games like Battlefield or Call of Duty, where the purpose is competition. Cooperative ventures are not meant to play to anyone's ego or skillz. More Cerberus goons with leaky holes in their heads is the only goal.

I agree that low level guys should stay out of Silver and Gold.

You shot yourself in the foot when you said high level players should stay out of Bronze. Nothing wrong with playing comp stomp matches.

I'm not sure why more high levels don't play silver, its not that much harder than bronze if you get a group of 4 high levels like you so often do on bronze and you rake in such large amounts of credits.

I got in a good lobby on silver difficulty and lets just say it solved the unlock problems I was having.

Being new to mp in general I had no idea there was an etiquette to these things. I have a level 20 adept and really like the bronze matches for a lot of the reasons mentioned. I've almost been kicked a couple of times and didn't know why but I guess that explains it. Personally I don't see the problem as your helping low level players level up which is surely a good thing.

Silver isn't as good as Bronze for farming on pubs. With friends, it blows Bronze away. But I've had more close calls on Silver than I ever have on Bronze. I also like curb stomping the poor AI as much as the next guy.

I'm a lvl 19 Sentinel, and I usually stick to Bronze matches because I can never find a decent silver/gold group.

If a new player (N7 rating <6) wants to start a public game/join with difficulty filter other than "bronze" he should get an annoying pop-up window with a message is he certain what he's doing and how it could affect the mission.

I agree, new characters dont know how this works. I started a vote to kick a level one from a gold match and he told me (with a lvl 20 infiltrator) that he would kick my ***. All because i said im not going to play a gold round with a level one.

So we switched it to silver and i laughed when he backed out of the game by wave 3 because we wouldnt revive him.

I don't have anything but mid-to-high level characters any more so when I feel like I playing bronze I play with a 12 or above character. *shrugs* Can't help it.

Bronze is fun for a quick buck, but i still enjoy the challenge of silver and gold. It really makes my gametime feel worth it and i think that is the point. But i would personally like to see a team of 4 lvl 1's take on gold and win. Anyone else care to try this out, im game.

I'm (I think) a level 16 Drell and a level 5 Quarian. I'm not going to stop playing bronze until I feel comfortable though.

I have a Level 18 Asari Adepts, a Level 7 Turian Sentinel,a Level 5 Human Vanguard and a Level 10 Human Infiltrator and a Rating of 46... now you'd think that when I enteredmyfirst RANDOM challenge after unlocking the Turian that peoplewouldn't have kicked me immediately... idiots missed out on Stasis Bubble...

I lack confidence at the moment; I'll be staying in bronze, and I'll move on to silver, and gold when I'm damn good, and ready.
