Clarification from the BIoWare team would be nice.

Depends on the enemy type.

2 atlas - 1 kill streak
5 soldiers - 1 kill streak

etc.

Wow. Old thread. But, I'll say this anyway:

I'm not sure if it was explained anywhere else. If so, I haven't seen the explanation. I believe a certain number of enemies has to die in 1 or 2 seconds of each other. And I don't think 1 person has to kill them. They just need to die in the allotted time, whither one person kills all of them or the entire squad kills each enemy, as long as they meet the necessary deaths in the necessary amount of time...

Does that make sense? If you still need help a year later -_-

Dat necro.

As for the conditions:
It's 5 enemies anywhere in the map within 1 second.
I've tested this way too many times with GI heavy melee + MQI Arc grenades...

A killstreak is 5 kills within second, and it's the same figure for each level

5 or more enemies of any type, killed in 1 second or less, by any means, by any teammates within the same match, is one killstreak.

You get a bronze medal for doing this once within a match. You get a silver for doing this twice within a match. You get a gold medal for doing this three or more times within a match.

It doesn't matter whether you kill 5 or 20 enemies at a time, any given instance of a killstreak is one killstreak. The enemies do not have to be anywhere near each other, although the most common instance of a killstreak is a spawn nuke. It is possible to get multiple killstreaks in a wave, especially on later objective waves, where you have an infinite supply of large spawns. On some difficulties and with some factions, it's harder to get a killstreak despite higher wave budgets, because the ratio of bosses to troops is higher, and high defenses make it difficult to ensure rapid kills.

Usually the easiest way to get killstreaks is to use cobras or grenades to nuke a spawn as it appears, but on Gold or Platinum the damage reduction spawns get for a few seconds after appearing can prevent even a direct cobra hit from killing bosses.

According to the wiki, kill streaks are awarded to a team when they kill 5 eniemes at once

Read it here: http://masseffect.wi...kend_Challenges
(it's in the Operation Firestorm)

Hope this helps :P
