I don't get these topics. Why do you gay people want to play with gays or gay-friendlies? Since when does sexual preferences mean a damn thing in an online multiplayer game? If you're not going to parade with your misplaced gay pride during online matches, people will not even know that you are gay. When people don't know you're gay, they can't bash you for being gay. Problem solved.

Note: I'm 100% tolerant to gay people. My best friend is a homosexual. I honestly don't care sexual preferences as long as you just act cool about it and don't shout your sexuality of the rooftops.

I just hate it when homosexuals parade with their sexuality and demand respect and acknowledgement for their sexuality. You don't see me going on a heterosexual parade do you? I'm not talking about how much of an awesome straight guy I am during online matches do you? And you won't hear me saying that I'm a proud straight guy and that I'm proud to be straight. That would be ridiculous. But it goes both ways. I find it ridiculous and insane when homosexuals parade with their sexuality and let the world know how awesome and proud they are that they are gay. It makes my face go like this -> <_<

You're completely missing the point of this thread. Obviously you didn't read some of the responses that address this. Many people, LGBT or otherwise, want to play with people that don't use sexist, racist and homophobic slurs. It is offensive, distracting and upsetting.  The player doesn't have to directly bash the person for it to be offensive or wrong.

So it has nothing to do with "parading" one's sexuality. Most of us don't do that considering that most are too afraid to come out anyway. Ignorance doesn't help anyone.

However I will parade my awesome-ness on ME MP. Image IPB Like I said, anyone interested can message me.

I see. I indeed missed the point then I guess.

Yes, playing with discriminating people is never fun, I'd just block anyone who discriminates me though. And when someone shoots "die f*ggot!" at an Atlas or something, I wouldn't make too much a deal out of it. I know my homosexual friend doesn't. When somsone uses "f*ggot" as a curse word, it doesn't automatically mean that this person is a homophobe.

I sometimes use "f*ggot" as a curse word, but I would never use it towards or against a homosexual person. As I said, I'm a tolerant person and I'm absolutely not homophobic at all.

If you were being discriminated against by a vast segment of society simply because you were heterosexual, would you not seek sollace among other heterosexuals?  Would you not band together and try to fight these intollerant people by proudly proclaiming you were hetersexual and that you aren't going away?  Would you wish to not be judged simply by your sexual orientation?  When the blacks were being persecuted did they not band together and fight for their rights?

I guess you're right. I don't know how bad it is in the USA or any other part of the world. I know that The Netherlands, where I live, is pretty tolerant to homosexuality. In fact, The Netherlands is the most gay-friendly and most gay-tolerant country in the world. We are the first country ever that accepted gay-marriage as equal to straight-marriage! Yet even in The Netherlands we still have plenty of those kind of homosexuals who see themselves as victims. They'll shove their sexuality in your face whenever they see the chance to do so and as soon as you dare to say something negative about it, they get all angry and pissed and they'll shout that you're a bigot and a homophobe. I hope you understand that I'm a bit irritated by those people to say the least.

I'm perfectly fine and tolerant with homosexuals who act normal, or at least don't make such a big deal out of their sexuality. Like I said, my best friend is a homosexual, so that shows I'm totally tolerant to homosexuals, as long as they act cool and don't make a huge deal out of it.

So yeah, that said, if after reading all this, you still want to play ME3 with me (on Xbox 360) or you're a homosexual person who want to play ME3 with me (on Xbox 360), add me to your friendlist.

GT: Lucos

Like I said, I'm completely tolerant to your sexuality as long as you don't turn your sexuality in the topic of discussion during every single match.

Wow, I don't know what to say after reading this thread. The level of ignorance and idiocy is off the charts. All I feel like doing is saying "sorry" to N3xium_Crash because of the crap they've taken over something as innocent and harmless as this thread, I feel bad for them.

It's funny, I only signed up to this site originally to register DAO and Mass Effect 2 but for some strange reason, I had a thought in my mind that BioWare fans would not be the usual moronic idiots that infest game sites/ boards, probably because of BioWare themselves more than anything. After seeing the mess over my beloved Dragon Age II and the opposition to Shepard finally going gay, I see now how wrong I was!

I don't like FPS games (TPS I love) and have had no interest in multiplayer at all. After trying the "free" mutiplayer for the 360 ME3 demo however, I am hopelessly addicted and think I may have to buy a gold account which I have not done since I first bought my 360 in 2006. Please feel free to add me.

P.S I never knew so many gay guys like games, I always thought I was alone. Although I am not the standard "game fan", I am a massive game geek.

You don't see anything wrong with someone requesting to "Only play with gay people"?

"I only want to play games with white people"
"I only want to play games with vegetarians"
"I only want to play games with Jewish people"

People have mised the point of the thread completely.  I do not know what the original title of the thread was but it now says gay and gay friendly.  I am guessing that was the intention all along.  Everyone knows what type of lowlifes and pathetic little 12 year olds infest XBOX LIVE, why should people subject themselves to that bulls**t if they do not have to?  Why shouldn't someone want to play with people that wont make the experience painful and the exact oppoite of what it should be?

I have a feeling that if it was about anything other than being "a gay", the thread would never have attracted such attention.  Anything gay related seems to bring out the scum on this board.  I've seen enough of it when DAII released and also in the pro/anti s/s romance threads for Mass Effect 3.

Frankly, I would not want to play with religious people, how can you trust irrational people who believe magic is real because primitive ignorant men in pre-scientific era said so?

The reason for being a believer is almost always based on non-rational causes, such as tradition or emotional need.

This irrationality can be seen in the language often used in religions writings and ceremonies. If you look for meaning in it, you will find little. It's just images thrown together to provide emotional comfort. The language can be quite beautiful, but it isn't rational justification for belief.
As has been explained pretty clearly, the reality of concept of god really is impossible. It is based on understandings of mind and life that are thousands of years old, and which we know to be wrong.

So, belief in god is either a result of not knowing what is involved, or a rejection of reason.

To get back to the point of the topic I have sent those so far who shown interest in being in this group a PM with the needed information. For those that will be Origin I have someone else who will be organizing that as I do not have plans to play it on PC or PS3 but still can help facilitate a group for Origin.

You don't have to explain how progressive your laws are.  I'm Canadian and I'm not gay.  Even as a heterosexual man I can understand why some gay people still feel the need to celebrate their sexuality, especially in the US.  They aren't hurting anyone by celebrating unless they go waaaaay over the top, so I don't see a problem.  Hell I see more people complain about Gay Pride than the KKK, and those kooks have their own "parade" too.

I'd definitely be interested in finding cool LGBTQ folks (and straight but gay-friendly allies) to play with. Would love to play with a group where I know I won't hear homophobic/sexist/other derogatory/insulting remarks.

Anyone looking to add such a player to your friend list (on Xbox) for MP fun in the future, send me a PM and I'll send you my GT.

I may not like religion either, but it's important to give respect to your fellow humans. Calling them stupid or ignorant is not helping.

Aw. Trust me, this isn't an issue. I love pretty much everybody. Never understood the criticism over homosexuality. My gamertag is TAPOUTbox1522 on Xbox. Not tapout as in the clothing line, Tapout as in the character XD I'm nit picky about that.

Anyway, Lvl 20 Sentinel Turian. So sure, if anyone wants to play I would dig that. I use mics off and on.

I have been trying to gather a group/party for the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer coming up and was wanting to know who is down.  Lately have had issues playing multiplayer since nobody seems to be online for it when I am as well as all my current multiplayer groups are more of the Call of Duty type (good game but have to have some variety). Send me a message on here if interested. Thanks

PS- Refrain from any discussion that is not involving the intended goal of establishing a group of like-minded gaming group for Mass Effect and Xbox Live. Thank you

PPS- This also is to include any LGBT and LGBT-friendly players!

Hey OP, I would be interested in playing Mass Effect multiplayer with such an awesome sounding group (I'm bi btw).  I've never really done online multiplayer so I don't know how good I'll be though, but I'd like to give it a try.  I'd like to give it a try especially since  my small group of  friends on XBL don't play Mass Effect.  I keep trying to get them, but no go...yet, anyways...:bandit:

I'll message you my gamertag when I get home later tonight.  I think it's HustleRoseRei27, but I can never remember if all of the first letters are capitalized or not.

Why does "gay friendly" matter? Is the only thing you're going to talk about your sexuality or something? Jeez, I have nothing against the LGBT community, I have some gay friends, but when they seek preferential treatment or act like their sexuality is their life it's obnoxious.

It matters a great deal because gays in real life are constantly hammered with heterosexuality at every turn possible.

A whole race in ME universe-Asari-was specifically designed to vulgarly pander to heterosexuality. We are getting sick of such things and I don't want to hear from any heteros about their love for ******, ******, how they have girlfriends and other such crap in any direct or indirect way.

You're getting sick of heterosexuals pandering to other heterosexuals? Excuse us for, not to be offensive, but, being normal.

I support gay rights and everything, but it's obnoxious when they expect to be treated like they're special. We're all just people, we're not defined by out sexualities so quit making such a big deal about it.

Right... like those politicians that TOTALLY have gay friends so that proves they aren't homophobic but still want to make they're "friends" lives as miserable as possible?
